a good stay, great welcome from the hotel staff. The only downsides were that it was quity a noisy room - I heard the next door showers going late at night, and also the bed did not seem right... as it was slanted at an angle.

I stayed in this hotel for a concert at the Defense Arena. The hotel is clean, comfortable, secure and very close to restaurants and transport. Even being centrally located, the place was silent and the staff was available and attentive. To finish, the breakfast was perfect, with a large selection of salty and hot options. I recommend and will come back with pleasure.

Originally booked for 5 nights, due to train delay I reached Paris the day after. Before I send two emails to the Hotel (nobody answered) and then I called informing I would have arrived the day after and therefore stay only 4 nights, I was told everything was fine. When leaving, the receptionist was quite vague and evasive from the beginning - then asked whether "Could we use your reservation to pay?" - I said yes without thinking (so far, they hadn't showed me the bill) and then I saw they put the receipt in an enveloped without showing me at all (very strange). I asked to see the receipt and I saw I have been booked 5 nights. When I asked, they said "It is the fault of Booking.com" which is false since I called the Hotel. I travel for work so it is not a big deal, but I do not accept dishonesty. Never again.

As you booked 5 nights with a non refundable rate, we couldn't modify your booking and you were due to pay 5 nights. I can assure you that we have not stolen your money, in fact we charged booking.com not yourself directly. I am very sorry if you feel that we have stolen your money but I can assure you that my colleague put the receipt in an enveloppe as it is our procedure. Since you booked a non refundable rate, we had to respect the sales conditions and charge the first night even if you did no show and even if you called beforehand. We have indeed to follow booking.com's procedure even if you call the hotel directly. If you had booked through us we might have been able to change your booking and make you pay for the first night. I apologize if there was a miscommunication when you called. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.
