« Unusually bad stay... »

I have been staying at this property for many years with only good experiences. However, this last stay was pretty bad. 1. I used the online check-in, but that did not speed up my actual check-in which took quite some time and I still had to provide all the same documentation. 2. Upon entering my room, I noted that it was two double beds rather than a King as I had requested during my online check-in. But that was managable - what wasn't was the loud high pitched screetch coming from the TV. To boot, the TV wouldn't work. I called service before settling in and a wonderfully kind gentleman came in to take a look and couldn't resolve the issue so he got me a new room. He was the highlight! 3. Once settled in my new room (without a view and right by the loud elevators) I began to get some work done. While working in my PJs, I heard a knock at the door and before I could even stand up, a man used a key and entered the room - he stayed mostly in the doorway, but was in the room. He was clearly an employee - likely a manager-level if I had to guess. After I asked him to wait a moment, he backed out of the room and I greeted him and he explained that he thought the room was vacant. He did apologize, but it didn't feel sufficient as I was clearly spooked by the experience. No one else mentioned this to me - I was hoping there would be some sort of follow-up or further explanation or apology. 4. This isn't a new practice, but I would also ask that you stop the practice of leaving a message on the phone when room service doesn't clean. The sign on the door is a great alternative to the red blinking like that requires we call down and ask someone to clear it.

On the morning of CheckOut Reception could not find my laundry, which was express overnight and due to be back before 8am. After several request to return my laundry, Reception kept saying the would escalate it, they made me wait an hour and 30 mins before admitting the laundry had never even left the building!!

I stayed at the Pullman last weekend for a conference and was thoroughly impressed with my entire experience. We were warmly greeted, the interior design was new and sparkling clean with a modern and chic design, all equipped with an outdoors patio to sit around with cocktails overlooking the lagoon. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The stay was good. The food seemed a bit expensive. The biggest bummer was that I left my computer charging cord in the room by accident but the hotel didn't notify me and I didn't realize it until a day later. It would've been cool if they let me know and offered to ship it to me.

I went to sleep only to be woken up by bed bugs. I am severely allergic to bed bug bites and had follow up panic attacks that resulted in two ER visits, one while I was in SF and one when I flew back. If there was another hotel close to EA, that's where I would stay. I do appreciate being immediately being assigned another room but overall my experience was terrible and I wish to never stay at the pullman again.

It took quite some time for us to be greeted - the woman helping us kept coughing which sounded forced. It was just bizarre. We got to our room to find a pillow case with mascara marks on it. I called down to request a new pillow, was not given an apology. Someone came up about 10 minutes later holding a new pillow (not as comfortable as the original) and did not apologize then either, but just walked off after the exchange.

Stay was ok, I was really put off that you would have noticeably ill staff greeting customers at the front desk. Coughing, sneezing and not able to speak... I travel a lot and don't need to be exposed to this. It's a very poor representation. I was really not happy about this.
