We arrived A little after 3 pm on a Saturday and much to my surprise I was randomly selected to be the Special guest of the day it’s a reward program that Pullman has for guest they randomly select a guest and upgrade them to their best suites and we also received 2 complimentary drinks for the bar, this has been by far my best experience with any hotel I absolutely loved it! Will definitely be booking here again without a doubt!! Super clean friendly and professional.

Bar is always great Check in was easy There was yucky mold in bathroom and the paint needed refreshing. Room was comfortable Check out line was long and only one clerk at the desk, therefore no elite service.

I stayed 4 nights. On the second night i inquired on why my rate was significantly higher than a peer of mine. During dinner at the hotel it surfaced that although we both worked out of the same vancouver studio he was only being charged $289/night and i was being charged a lot more. I shared a copy of his itinerary and rate with the front desk who told me they would look into it. The following day i checked to see if anything was done and was told that the best they could do was to adjust a night. The overall experience was far from friction free and quite absurd considering how much effort was to produce nothing. Its a work trip, but out of principle the entire process was painful and definitely produced a very poor impression of customer service and excelllence for a hotel that should represent far better.

Amazing location. Fun outdoor setting on the lagoon, with a pool and outdoor cafe seating. Pets stay free! I like the quick morning market inside with espresso drinks and cafe sandwiches and whatnot for purchase. The rooms are nice and spacious.

« Amazing as usual! »

I come up to Redwood City often for work and I always stay at the Pullman. The staff is incredible and you have very low turnover so they remember me. I feel that every staff member I interact with has just a refreshing attitude and always there to help. It is hard to leave my family but staying at the Pullman feels familiar and it helps.

Checked in to Room 819. Appeared clean, however when I went to use the bathroom, someone had gone #2 and housekeeping failed to flush the toilet. I went to call housekeeping, and phone was not in service. Used my cell phone to call front desk - completely unacceptable. I was transferred per my request to a room on the 9th floor, which seemed like a good idea, until I checked out and needed to depart on time April 10, 2019 to make an early meeting - only to find that the elevators WERE NOT WORKING! Seriously, at 8am on a Wednesday?!? When guests are departing to make flights, meetings on time. I got to my meeting (late) to find that one of my co-workers got stuck in your elevators. Just because the Pullman is seemingly the only hotel near: EA, Oracle & a major business park - does not mean you can stop caring for and upgrading your hotel. We have other options - including Airbnb - and we will go that route if things don't improve soon! -Dissatisfied 3x guest

« Relaxing, quiet, and comfortable. Just what we wanted! »

Simple parking right outside the front door. Super friendly and quick check-in process, beautiful and spotless grounds and room. Spacious, great bed and pillows, no traffic or neighbor noise, super relaxing. Only disappointed by the restaurant menu selections, had planned to stay for dinner but settled on drinks and went out to eat instead. Also really missed the crab Benedict in the AM! Small things really, will definitely be back.

See email below which I have not received a response to. Dear Anthony Your receptionist Khin asked me to write to you about my complaints. I stayed at Pullman last night. I’d made reservations through hotels.com and paid extra for lagoon view (see attached). I had room 744 which is clearly not that. I only found out when I woke up this AM as the curtains were drawn when I checked in. More importantly this morning I was woken up at 4:00am to smell of food flooding through my room. I believe the room is next to a kitchen or something. I couldn’t sleep after that and now I have a full day of important meetings ahead of me with a headache. « The customer service during check-in was disappointing. »

My company's HQ is located in Redwood City so this is my 2nd time at the Pullman. This last time the customer service during check-in was disappointing. I had a simple request that would put me in a cheaper room and there was no consideration to be made to attempt to look. They said that the hotel was fully booked and people with reservations will have to be turned away that evening. I know how hotels work and realize it would have been a simple moving around of reservations. The fact that I was asking for a mountain view as opposed to the lake view that I was given was surprising. I wouldn't think much of it as I'm very patient and realize the things that they deal with on a daily basis. Unfortunately, my colleague made a similar comment about a different person that checked her in during her stay. She said the other person was extremely rude which is not the type of experience you want when you're traveling, either for business or pleasure. The elevator went out one day and we all had to take the stairs which was not a big deal as I wasn't checking out and had 4 flights of stairs. But my colleague checking out that day, had to carry her luggage down 8 flights of stairs and nobody was willing to help her. I realize things can happen that are out of the control of the hotel, but there might be a need for basic customer service training at the very least. I make it a point to give positive reviews and feedback, especially when public. I do, however, think constructive feedback is important and I keep it private through these types of surveys. Thanks.

Air conditioner did not work well. Called maintenance who said technically it was blowing so not much he could do. Advised to keep blinds closed. Awful experience. No offer to solve issue.

The hotel is at a great location, with a good view. The staffs are very friendly. The restaurant is okayish. I enjoyed my stay. I gave 8 instead of 10 for two reasons, 1. there was no body lotion in the apartment. 2. The water flow in all taps is too much. Given it's in a draught hit city, they should reduce the water flow and unnecessary wastage of water. Hope this feedback will help.
