Welcome fruit basket was a nice touch, front desk staffs was very friendly and helpful, however conceirge staff was less friendly and not helpful at all. Accor benefit was not consistent, member still get charged for breakfast, which quite unusual. The property gave me an impression of a hip and cool & arty hotel, rather than a traditional Sofitel, maybe would suit better with Mgallery or Hyde brand. 6/10 rating.

hotel itself was modern, extremely well kept, understated rooms reminded me of the pierre in new york, outstanding staff made the stay super enjoyable, absolutely fantastic gym, loved the pelotons, valet was super prompt even with many in and out and through busy times, check in was great; tye was hilarious; would absolutely stay again. combo of property and great attitude of everyone working at the hotel; a very minor improvement would be a more extensive poolside menu

The stay was nice. A few issues. We booked two rooms at the same time at the same cost. Our room was not as nice or the same as the other couple. They had two doors which opened into the nice air. We had fixed windows. Their room was generally nicer than ours as well. We were not happy about that at all. In the future I would definitely have gone back to the front desk. Otherwise, the hotel is a little rough around the edges for an upscale hotel. The location is fantastic with easy access to everything. A very nice experience other than the room issue. Would stay again if that would be resolved the next time.

To whom it may concern, The hotel and facilities available were great, as well as the location, however I was completely dissatisfied with your credit card facility. I had issues at check in and check out with the ability to charge my Credit Card. I was delayed for almost 45 minutes checking out, as the front desk attended could not charge my card, advising that there were either no funds on my card or that I had to advise my bank. I had been using my card throughout my stay in the USA with no issues. I had calculated enough time to check out and get to the airport to meet my flight to Boston on the morning of the 14th July, however the hold up delayed me by over an hour, causing unnecessary stress in hoping to get to my flight on time. Being an International hotel one would assume you would have the latest payment facilities, dealing with patrons from all over the world, however it seems this is not the case. Thanks Caroline.

Staffs are professional & friendly. Issues with lightning resolved in due time. The guy who fixed it did beyond expectation he even gave his personal phone charger to me when mine burned out . The room is neat & clean. I would like to thanks everyone who made an effort to made my birthday more special. There was an orchid, wine, fruits and birthday card in my room . Overall I am really happy and satisfied staying at Sofitel, highly recommended to my family, friends , co workers. ( the only thing I noticed I asked for coffee and I was given mint tea :) ) But there is freshly brewed coffee , tea in the lobby in the morning . Thank you Sofitel , it is memorable stay!!

check in was hard...checked in at 10am..i totally understand there would be wait thats not the problem when i asked the guy he said room would be ready at 2pm, checked in at 2pm, now hes says 4-5pm he was so rued about it when i matched this attitude my room was suddenly available it left a bad taste in my mouth the whole week. which is a shame wifi is always a problem air condition is never cold enough

Overall, it was great. The staff are amazing. But there is one thing that I have to give you a big cross on is not supplying your visitors a fridge to put their stuff in. It is very rude, in my opinion. I am sure that I am not the only one reporting this, as I have spoken to others, and they say the same thing. PLEASE GIVE US A FRIDGE THAT WE CAN USE, GUYS.

I need to premise this by saying that we usually stay at Waldorf, Ritz-Carlton, St Regis or Four Seasons properties in the US. We do stay at the Sofitel Washington DC every time we visit DC as its wonderful. Context is important in these instances as the reviewers expectations/habits are extremely relevant to the reader. I was expecting a similar level of luxury and customer service as the Sofitel in DC, unfortunately i was left disappointed. From the outset our stay was average; checked in at 2pm, suite wasn't ready for 1.5 hours, after we finally received the keys to our room, we asked for the bags to be delivered as we had a reservation at 4....bags didn't show up. Had to ask the guest services manager to assist me, (which he was very glad too - this was lovely). Room was tired and needed updating. Housekeeping were very respectful and super helpful. I also want to mention the type of guest this hotel seems to attract. Within 15 minutes of arriving the police paid a visit and a particular gentleman was walking around without a shirt, pants hanging under his bottom, speaking very loudly in offensive language as if there was no other guest in the hotel. Did not sleep much as the bed was very old and had a lean, (felt like my feet were 2 feet higher than my head?) and the service entry was right next to our room which was extremely noisy. After the second night, i checked out and checked into the Waldorf. It was 5 times the price but hey - luxury does cost money. Also worth mentioning the location is spectacular for shopping, great cafes around, (kings rd cafe and toast bakery). My expectations were probably too high and for the money, the hotel is fine... its just not the Waldorf.

Fine. Front desk wrote down wrong number on my card so it did not work in elevator. I went back and he changed it. I recommend advising maid service not to enter rooms without someone answering. I was in the bathroom and maid came in without knocking and it scared me. Very unprofessional.

Awesome hotel but service in and out is too slow. There was a line of people when we were leaving and we needed to get to the airport, a lady was yelling st the special service staff as she had been waiting g for ages as well. Concierge was really helpful and rooms were divine

I enjoyed my stay very much. The bed was very comfortable however the one issue I had was the corner of the end of the bed was in a bad position, I kept on hitting my foot to it. Hopefully, you will be able to address that.
