It was hospitality at its peak. It was a business trip for me, and Grand Ambassador provided all support required during my trip without any complaints. The attention to details is remarkable and efficiency of service commendable. Access to the executive lounge as an accor member was also useful. Some Accor hotels don't have this facility, so I really appreciated the service and facility to relax without the noise and distraction you often get in the main hotel bar. The food didn't disappoint with a spread and options to choose from. Thanks for being a remarkable host. I'll certainly be back here in future. Thanks to all management and staff for their service, friendliness and support.

Overall, a solid 4. Service was great. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of options. AC in my room struggled to keep the space cool. Quiet at night. Close to a subway stop and a short walk to restaurant options.

As a gold member we were upgraded to a bigger room with views all round. Staff were cheerful, helpful and most spoke good English. On a previous stay a few days earlier we had accidentally left some clothing behind. A phone call ensured that the housekeepers found the items which were safely stored for our return visit. The "pub" style bar/restaurant has a mini buffet with unlimited drinks 6 days a week which was excellent value. Our only minor issue is that the hotel is just about the last drop off for the KAL Limousine Bus from Incheon, which makes it a long trip (our first stay the bus took 2 1/2 hours). This is not the hotels problem per se, but you might like to consider taking the AREX train from the airport and then a cab, as it is only about a USD 7-8 fare from Seoul station. Management wight like to consider advising guests of this option. Overall though, a very nice comfortable hotel (formerly the Sofitel) with quiet rooms, good airconditioning, and excellent staff.

« Hotel with Shuttle Bus to Myeongdong & Dongdaemun »

I chose this hotel because it provided Shuttle Bus to Myeongdong & Dongdaemun. My room was upgraded and I received welcome drink vouchers. The room is quite big and they call it "Newly Renovated room" but the Bathtub look old and the soap holder's broken. The hotel has indoor pool but not big one. Fast check in & check out. Ms. Bo Bae Lee's very nice. She helped me with the tax refund documents. Overall I will stay again in this hotel.

We have stayed at your hotel for all the years we travelled to Seoul. There should be more improvements in your hotel since its location is not that good and it is quite expensive. You should hire cleaners who can speak English, have more shuttle trips, and cheaper food in your restaurant specially the buffet. Thank you

I was staying in Grand Ambassador for just one brief night, but the impression stayed longer. I came early after an exhausting trip from Jeollabuk-do, but the front office gave me the privilege to check in at 11.30 AM and that's a huge help for the tired bone like me :-) The other good thing is that this hotel has a free shuttle to the popular places such as Myeongdong, Insadong and Dongdaemun, saved me from taking the metro :-). However the nearest metro station, Dongguk University is only 3 minutes walk past the cozy environment of Dongguk University. And the best part, this hotel also has KAL Limousine directly go to Incheon Airport. Staffs were all helpful and proactive. But I wonder, why do you have girls to take guests luggage? I love my stay in Grand Ambassador, and look forward to another stay here.
