« Good hotel with excellent food »

We enjoyed our stay. The food available in premier lounge for breakfast and happy hour was excellent. Even better was that all food was hot instead of lukewarm. The location is a little bit out of the center of the town. Therefore the hotel offered shuttle bus once per hour to the downtown location. We tried it and found it working

A very friendly receptionist attended us and checked us in in very short time. As I am a Platinum member, our room was upgraded to the executive floor with the right to use the lounge. That was a big advantage in this Hotel. Most important, the very friendly and competent reception team helped as several times in finding places in Seoul, making reservations etc. The breakfast buffett had a good choice of Corean and western food in excellent quality and different choices every day. The happy hour at the end of the day was a happy our indeed. A selection of good red and white wines, beers, juices and a buffett full of tasty food was ready every day from 6 to 8 PM. A free overnight shoe cleaning service was available. We had a room with an excelent view to the Namsan tower, a comfortable bed with diferent choices of pillows which could be choosen from a menue. The room had a good size, the bathroom included a bathtub as well as a shower. Every day the room was cleaned up in perfection. We decided to stay 3 more days in Seoul and there was no doubt, that we would continue at the Grand Ambassador, as we were very satisfied with everything here. The Hotel is well located. There are many shops and different Restaurants nearby and the Metro Station is just a view minutes away. I can fully recomend this Hotel.

1. Checked in was smooth and staff was helpful. 2. Room was spacious. However, we booked a family room for 3 adults but only two sets of towels and sleepers were there. Should have pre-installed for 3 adults based in family room. 3. The shower was really weak and my wife was angry with me. Unfortunately it was later in the night we found this out and didn’t border to ask for a change esp with point number 2. 4. There was a coffee machine and 2 free capsules were given each day. However, this seems to be a standard offer for standard room. We have 3 adults and we paid for it. We should be entitled to 3 free capsules without asking for extra. We didn’t ask for it because again, this should come with the room when we checked in esp for a hotel like Grand Ambassador.

« Still classy and comfortable »

Service at the hotel is impeccable. One always feels safe at this hotel as hotel staff are a visible presence, especially at the lift lobby. We have always liked the layout of the room and find the presence of multiple power points suitable for different plugs at the desk most convenient. The shuttle bus into main points of interest is always a boon and during this stay, there was always room for us on the bus. This was not always the case on a past visit. One reason I did not give a rating of 10 points was that the bathroom, although clean, smelt of mildew. Perhaps some anti-bacterial cleaning agent could help in this regard. Other than this, however, it was a great stay and we will come back on our next trip to Seoul.

Clean spacious rooms, comfortable bed and efficient service. Had forgotten to bring my iPhone charger, called housekeeping and was delivered in minutes! Super efficient. Just thought the food from the bar was a bit overpriced. The breakfast selection was ok for that price. The shuttle service was a plus and handy since must taxi drivers don’t speak English. If you don’t speak Korean, it’s a bit of a struggle! Anyway, overall a very pleasant stay and well done housekeeping for a good job!

Check-in was smooth. Rooms were nice and clean. However, the air conditioning was not working very well. Even when we dropped the setting to 18 degrees, it was still only blowing 23 degrees. Being mid Sept, in Autumn, the outside temp was between 24-30 degrees. With this mind, overnight temperatures in our room was too warm for a comfortable sleep. Therefore, a thumbs down for this inconvenience. The prices to dine in the hotel restaurants were more expensive than we anticipated. Especially, since they was no Table Plus discounts for being an Accor Plus member. But, there were rows of eateries were located one street parallel to the front of the hotel. A mere 10-15 minute walk across the bridge and down an alleyway. In addition, if you turn left from the hotel entrance and walk downhill towards to the traffic lights, you will find a nice french bakery/cafe/restaurant with very well-priced food. The hourly airport shuttle to the city and cultural centres were very convenient. Thank you. Even if you wanted to walk, it would take only about 30 minutes. Therefore, this hotel was in an appropriate location, with f&b options about 10-15 minutes one street away. Overall, I would probably stay here again...only if they fixed the air conditioning.

« Good at staff level but not so good at facility level »

Surprise the change of using the spa facilities which is one of the important item I select Grand Ambassador Pullman. I stay here more than 15 years and this time make me disappointed. I do exercise everyday in the gym now can not borrow sports wears and use the shower, and of course not the spa as well which normally do one time or maximum 2 times during my stay. Not sure next time in Seoul which hotel I should book if I want to relax in the spa!

I am really sorry, but i definitely have to show my dissatisfaction during my last recent stay with Grand Ambassador Seoul Hotel - Associated Pullman which is part of AccorHotels. The Motto of AccorHotels is "Feel Welcome" but i have to admit that this time i didn't feel at all Welcome as the access to the Sauna-Hammam have been denied to me solely because i have Sleeve Tattoos. As well, the way the Staff people refuse me to use it was totally not professional. On top of that, This is TOTALLY Ridiculous, especially that i have been staying at this hotel for the last 3 years of 7 times and so far i always been able to use the Sauna-Hammam Facility, but this Time they refused even that i tried to speak with the Manager who wasn't present on that day. Ambassador Seoul Hotel - Associated Pullman is a 5 Stars International Hotel, therefore, you have to Open Your Mind and let whoever who wants to use the Sauna-Hammam use it. This is so far one of my worst experience with AccorHotels and i will definitely not stay anymore at this Hotel.

The best overseas stay me and my family experienced so far. Excellent customer service that made us feel like home. Friendly and ever helpful staff from the concierge, front desk, restaurant, cleaners and lift porters. Surprisingly spacious, simply well decorated rooms with complete amenities. Most intriguing is that this hotel is situated a bit uphill and slightly outskirt from the bustling city of Seoul thus giving us the feeling of comfort, quiet, yet luxurious.

I have stayed in your hotel for over a week in the last three years. I in fact request from my host to book the ambassador hotel. I have stayed in the Sheila hotel and it was nice and luxurious and expensive. The ambassador hotel is very comfortable with a reasonable price with all the basic comforts necessary to have everything needed but not too much! This is why I stay in the ambassador and enjoy it!!!
