Good location but the room was too hot so did not get a good nights sleep.

The gentleman older with not much hair sorry to describe him in that way!! But he was an absolute darling and made us feel welcome. He was more than helpful and greeted us with smile the next day!! As we had 4 rooms booked he lets us into one early so we went out for the day. The lady in the other hand in the evening of Saturday. When we checked in for the other rooms the other gentleman was pleasant. His colleague who was a lady was rude and I was very annoyed with her attitude. I could not get into my room with my key card the others could. When I went down to rectify this she was very sarcastic to me!! I don't need that when I spend 30 nights a year in Accor hotels and I was not rude to her!! Apart from that the bar man was super friendly and very helpful. Breastfast was more than adequate

Overall is was fine although when booking I had been misled that the hotel had a gym and I was disappointed that it didn't. A pleasant, clean, basic but spacious room. Very helpful staff.

« Value for money »

Good value for money 30mins away from town take bus no:16 from Luxembourg central station cost €2. You’d probably pay double for such a hotel if it was in town. The restaurant dinner was surprisingly very nice. Not a morning person didn’t eat the breakfast at the hotel. Aircon in good working condition for those old nights. Check out queu was very long but I guess it’s my fault I checked out exactly at checkout time. It was raining had to walk to the airport because next shuttle was in the next hour. Funny because they didn’t put up the shuttle times. If I knew the shuttle times I’d have timed myself properly.

While this hotel is quite close to the airport, it was only on occasion that I heard the aeroplanes, which was good. Staff are very pleasant and helpful in general.

« Good hotel near the airport and cheap »

I was uncertain whether to give the hotel 3 or 4 stars because unfortunately my room was very hot and the thermostat did not appear to work and opening the window meant that I heard the aircraft taking off. That aside the facilities are good and the staff helpful and pleasant.

« Irregular quality »

I face very irregular quality In the services of IBIS in my last stays. If I am lucky, all works fine. But more often than not, I have at least one issue on every stay: 1) Television would not work and had to wait until the following day to fix it 2) the cleaning lady forgot to put towels I nthe bathroom. When I noticed it at 6 the following morning, reception told me over the phone that I had to go down to collect the towels as They could not go up (This happened on my stay of 15-18 October). Never experienced this. 3) Heating did not work and after claiming two days, they brought me a heater (15-18 ocober) 4) Water is not hot if you get a shower at 7 am. It happened on my stay 20-22 November, both days I showered with almost cold water. I could almost rate the hotel with ** due to the poor service they are lately providing.

The hotel has clearly been around for a while and needs renovation. The staff members are great and I enjoy coming back week after week. The menu card is limited and changes twice a year which is a bit boring for weekly commuters. The food itself is tasty.

« Short but OK »

We used Ibis only for sleeping and it fullfilled in that respect our needs quite well. The only remark we have is lack of a bottle of water in the room. The air inside the room is quit dry due to air-conditioning/heating system in place and if you forget to arrange the water earlier - then you wake up at night with very dry throat. In most of other places where we stay - water is a standard - here it was not.

My overall stay at Ibis exceeded my expectations. The hotel room was clean and the services offered were exceptional especially the shuttle service to the airport. The only thing which I really didn't like were the breakfast trays, some of which had mould.

It is a full American breakfast buffet where you can take “ As much as you want”, with plenty of bread and pastries, cereals, ham, cheese, yogurt, hot sausages and bacon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and cucumber, 3 varieties of seasonal fruits and always apples, bananas and orange. Evrything worked well..Good location if you have to take a flight early in the morning. Don't expect something fancy but the hotel is quiet, has enough parking space and beds are good. Only thing i missed was a coffeemaker on the room

« Enjoyable and relax stay »

With a perfect location regarding the airport and a few local businesses, this hotel has finally new bed furnishings. Still, temperature control is out of guest control. Thanks so much to the reception team and especially to Suzana who manages to create a relaxed yet professional atmosphere at the reception. I have also noticed Alain tries to go the extra mile to satisfy guests.
