A few problems which made my stay not so good:- 1. Bathroom sink blocked so not a great experience. 2. Also lots of channels not working on TV. 3. Window only opens up about an inch so couldn’t get lots of fresh air. 4. Only 1 toilet roll provided A few good points:- 1. Staff very friendly 2. Bed lovely and comfortable

Check in was fairly quick but the member of staff wasn't too friendly. Didn't ask us for help with our luggage or tell us where anything such as where the lifts are located/where breakfast is served.

« convenient location but served by lack of cleanliness and too moist »

despite renovated room and convenient location close to motorway, there is a big problem with cleanliness management in hotel common area (doors dirty, old carpet dirty, lift wall and floor soiled...). Also too cold room and breakfast room. Why windows are still open when temperature is 16°C outside!!

Good. Twin beds a little narrow and range of complimentary drinks could’ve done with a couple of bottles of water or a soft drink but was happy in general. Breakfast was a positive, lots of choice and good quality.

« Had potential to be great but let down by a few small details »

Great location for visiting Knebworth Park. Welcoming lobby and check in staff very friendly. Family room was a great size. Few small details let it down. One of the towels was filthy. There were a lot of stains on the carpet. Breakfast was good but the coffee machine was broken and didn't have any milk. No note or explanation, everyone was being left to figure it out on their own.

« Generally very good with two exceptions »

Generally very good except for two exceptions. 1/ The shower in the bathroom had had a new but unsuitable shower head fitted. This made it impossible to point the shower downwards resulting in most of the water going directly onto the floor. 2/ The service in the bar and from the bar to the tables in the restaurant was polite and friendly but unacceptably slow.

Nice modern and fresh, but one waitress in the evening dining area was not enough, she did very well, Megan, considering she had to do everything herself, despite asking other staff for help.

« Mr Fine in some areas but very disappointing in others. »

Both the room and the room service were very good. However the bar was not welcoming and we had to wait for service even though it was a very quiet night. Staff not helpful. On arrival the reception desk were welcoming and helpful. On departure we met with a surly and disinterested person at the desk . Not even an enquiry about our stay . Also my surname was incorrectly spelt and I asked for this to be corrected . However this has not been altered. It should be Pannell.
