Loved our stay at the Novotel. Easy acces to shops and restaurents. Spacious rooms. Hotelstaff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is amazing. The buffet for dinner is great, we loved the Thai specialties.

With one night to prepare for our flight home and wanting to spend it somewhere with lots going on around. The Novotel Siam Square was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel bar and restaurant facilities delivered drinks and snacks that where tasty and good value. Close by it was easy to get to MBK and the Hard Rock Cafe. Overall a great experience in a modern hotel.

the reason why I stayed every year is only because of the hotel location . every year when I check in, it usually takes about 20-30mins as I always get the reason "because we are running full". this year, we checked in at around 4pm and out of 3 rooms we booked, only 2 rooms were available. last year one of the days, my room was not cleaned and I complained to the manager and he let me used the lounge while waiting for housekeeping to clean my room this year , one of the days, housekeeping didn't put any bath towels and I realised it after I finished my shower. all these happened even though I am a silver accor member. if there as another hotel in siam square, I will not stay here

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and good rooms. Good pool when you need to relax and the gym is ok. Close to shops and large malls. Some good restaurants near by Very handy for the BTS so easy to get around the area.

« Good Location but Not Honest »

We booked 3 Executive Premier Rooms with King Size bed as we are sharing the bed with our toddlers. The check-in at the Premier Lounge was fast and they were kind enough to give us 2 rooms on level 15 for early check-in. The rooms were neat and bright but there was a very strong smoke smell in one of the rooms which we left it empty on the first night. We noticed that the room design looks like the Deluxe Room and the bed was too small to be a king size. We checked with the reception and they claimed that we were given the the executive room until the Duty Manager came and agreed that we were given the deluxe room as we requested to have the rooms on the same level. We were not informed about the change in room category in the first place which is not honest. They offered to change the rooms or add an extra bed on the second day. We chose the extra bed since we had unpack our luggages and to our dismay, the extra bed was just a sheet over the sofa bed. In the end, we cramp our 4 nights with our child on the queen size bed. We also spotted cockroaches in the newly renovated Deluxe Room. But we enjoyed the drinks and refreshments at the Lounge.

The location is great for biz trips, as all our clients are just a short ride away. The hotel staff is very attentive and welcoming, and so much so that our company will now use this hotel exclusively.

I have stayed here a number of times in the past. This time, due to logistics, I was able to stay one night. Check In was, hmm, OK. Not as quick or efficient as in the past. Check out was, well, much longer than normal. I do not have a clue as to why it took so long. The front desk was well staffed. Room was good. No issues at all. Bathroom was good. Shower has an issue in room 1707 in that it would go from normal to HOT in a flash. Something that should be checked out. Internet speed was adequate. No complaints. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The welcome free drink was good

Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square is in an excellent location, walking distance to restaurants, malls and shopping areas and transportation. My family and I enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Personally, this is my third stay. The staff are helpful, polite and go out of their way to serve. We will definitely stay in the hotel again.

Overall stay was the same as my last couple of Months at NOVOTEL Siam Square. Front desk and Premium lounge as well as Concierge are excellent services. Breakfast staff and lobby cafe staff can be improved. Especially at breakfast, some staff seems not to happy that we are eating. I can probably think that they are over work. I have used the Gym too this visit and I think some. Guys( in Black T-Shirts) are part of NOVOTEL staff but they were busy using the gym facilities as well as playing Thai music with their mobile phone speaker.

Novotel Siam has always been my first choice hotel whenever I visit BANGKOK because of its prime location and proximity to BTS. This time round, we were rather disappointed with a few things: 1. We wanted to check in before 12noon and the front desk was really helpful and offered us a Low floor room. They gave us our room keys but forgot our Accor membership benefits. They used to serve us small glasses of welcome drinks while we waited for our keys. This time round, there wasn’t any. The room had an awful stench and we had to come down to request for a change. That’s when the lady apologised for forgetting to pass us our membership benefits. 2. The room on the 15th floor was clean and we loved the 3 towel elephants placed on our beds. So cute! However, the shower was terrible. When we tried to use the big shower head, the water trickled down. We had no choice but to use the smaller shower head. The water was hot then turned cold. We tried to adjust it slightly hotter and it became scalding hot before turning cold and remained cold. It was really frustrating that we could not even enjoy our bath. For ladies with long hair, it would be so much easier to wash our hair with a strong water pressure and warm water. 3. Checking out took quite a while because we ordered room service and had to settle the bill. After waiting for about five minutes, the front desk person told us we had two bills, one for upgrading our room to a deluxe room and the other for room service. I was shocked. My booking showed full payment for a deluxe room. I was told to wait again as they did another check. I wondered where the upgrading came from. It took another 5 minutes and I decided to show them my booking form and clarified that the deluxe room had been paid for. The service at Novotel Siam hasn’t been very consistent. I have had both great and disappointing experiences there. Because there have been times when we were treated like VIPs, the expectations are high and so when the service does not match up, we inevitably feel disappointed because we know they can do better. Sure hope the next stay will be a much more pleasant one.

I would like to commend Director of F&B Phil for being friendly and knowledgeable, and being around every morning during breakfast to welcome guests. Saw him at the grill and cheese dinner on Sunday 27Oct and he was excited to present the food and dining experience. Kudos to him for having the live stations and ala minute food preparations so as not to waste the good ingredients like foie gra and scallops.

Booked the newly refurbished deluxe room, but the shower and bathroom are dated. Rain shower not working. Water temperature from shower head not consistent, gets hot and cold. Wall tiles are dirty. A few small cockroaches running around the coffee table in the room!

I have been to the Novotel in Siam Square over 20 times, and I will return because it is my home away from home. All the staff are very friendly and there are some that have been there for many years so it is really nice that every time I return, they remember me.. The room is comfortable and spacious, the A/C very good, as well as the wifi. In room dining is great too. I wish it could b a little more varied. Breakfast on the 2d floor is also good.. Keep it up Novotel in Siam Square

« Totally enjoyable stay »

Had a wonderful stay and am especially impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of all the cheery staff we met at the hotel. Special mention to the Premier Lounge staff Yaya, Ploy and Vi, as well as Pump and Preaw. We left behind some personal clothing items in our room after check out, and Pump graciously kepr and handed them over to us the next day when we returned to collect. The concierge, bell boys, security, spa and housekeeping staff were all attentive, helpful and always smiling when we were there. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and hassle-free.
