The room was very nice, large enough to move around and for all of our belongings. I liked having the shelf under the sink in the bathroom to store our toiletries. Mathew, one of the concierges at the hotel was extremely helpful and very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We were in Nancy for a wedding and many activities took place in beautiful Stanislas Place, a short walk from the hotel.

I then came in, in person, in April to discuss my room and to discuss having many of my guests stay there too. The week of September 16th, my guests booked a total of 44 rooms for anywhere from 2-6 nights at this location. Last week, I had to book an extra 3rd night for myself on top of my initial 2 night booking. I was charged full price (and was also billed full price for the other two nights when i checked out) but was told that “oh, you should have told us ahead of time about this situation- we could have comped you, etc.). The manager was “in a meeting”. But I obviously did make the details clear- when I booked last year and when I came in in April to have a long, detailed discussion and view the rooms. And if you didn’t want to take my word for it, it’s there in writing on my original reservation, which I have an email copy of. Having this said to me by the very same staff who I talked to in April made me frustrated- i did the right thing, your staff was clueless, and then blamed me. They told us they would “take the breakfast off the bill”- I didn’t even have breakfast there! That is terrible customer service and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Not a great way to communicate to your guests, particularly those that have brought you a ton of business I debated writing this as I am thinking nobody will respond but will give it a shot.

Very good experience at check in . The receptionist was friendly and informative and spoke English very well. The bedroom had a comfortable bed and the room had everything you needed including tea facilities which I like. It was very close to the main square so very easy to get around. For the price we paid, I thought it was excellent value.

We stopped here overnight on our way to the Alps. Both Nancy and the hotel were great. The room was very comfortable, the staff helpful and the location very convenient. Breakfast was plentiful with an excellent choice. The only downside - parking was a bit tight for large cars.
