« One of the worst Sofitel hotels I have been to »

+: The hotel is very well located and most of the personnel is very friendly but sometimes not prepared to provide good service. -: Awful smell in the lobby and elevators, horrendous decoration, bad service (1) Receptionist: do you want an extra bed in your room? Me: If there is only one bed in the room and we are 2 adults and 1 child, yes, I obviously need an extra bed” (2) in our bed there was a thick duvet under the bottom sheet (between the sheet and the mattress), making the bed totally uncomfortable so we took it off and when we came back to the hotel at the end of the day it had not been removed of the room, it was thrown in an armchair, making the room a mess.

Nice room, good breakfast with lots of variety, omeletts etc. upon request and really nice waffle maker. Yet for this level I would expect besides free tea on the room a small bottle of water per day.

« Hotel is under renovation and poor internet connection! »

Service was very good and I received thankfully complimentary upgrade as platinum member. The room was very clean and nice, thanks! Nevertheless, the Hotel is under renovation and noisy day over The normal internet connection is very poor and get often disconnected Ca. 10 EUR/day for better connection is to high and not worth it! Data connection over cell phone is cheaper!

+ve: Fast check in , comfortable bed . Very clean room , Professional staff. Good location -ve : the room smelled of cigarettes. Not sure if The previous occupant may have Been smoking in the room. It is a very nice hotel and very central for shopping, business and going out. However, at the moment is is being refurbished and it is probably not the best time to come. It was also the first time since I am gold/platinum member of Accor that no upgrade was suggested, which was an habit at this facility.
