Very easy to book, check-in quick and efficient, room excellent, rates excellent. Ate in the Marco Pierre White restaurant where both the service and the food were first class.

Was there for my mums wedding over the weekend. Awful organisation, poor staff bad attitude from one staff member in particular. Breakfast was messed up and not sorted as agreed. Not happy overall.

We have stayed in Novotel on at 5 occasions prior to cruise. We felt that the hotel was a bit tired looking this time.There was a odour on corridors of damp carpets. Food at breakfast was rather cold . However staff were friendly and helpful ....as always .

A comfortable stay, but room was looking a little dated, and was hot at night without any aircon. Consequently we felt the rooms was overpriced.

I booked on the phone for two colleagues, gave my cc number and was clear that all charges for my account. Despite this my colleagues were asked to produce a credit card to check in, they had to call me from reception. Your receptionist then made me email him confirmation. I asked for a call back from him to confirm he had received my message and everything was sorted, he didn’t call back. I called the hotel it rang out for over a minute, I called back was put on hold for over 2 minutes so rang off.

As a long standing member, a bit dissappointed this time. I had booked and pre paid 2 rooms with breakfast and evening meal. On arrival only 1 room showed on the system at reception and this took some time to sort out. We were not informed that our meal was a £21.00 allowance or we should have been given a different menu this again took some time to sort when paying the bill. I wrongly presumed this would all have been in the system as I did say we have allready prepaid our meal when we went into the dining room for our meal. Otherwise the hotel and well appointed and the rooms were as nice as usual.

A big Thank You to Hali and the team for all their help to make our event a success. Marti who set up the room and supported us was wonderful, as always. Please pass on our thanks to him. A special mention also goes to Brian and your bar team who were also very helpful. Our guests enjoyed the canapes, and the tea, coffee, juice and water seemed to hit the mark. One of the reasons I enjoy organising events with you and the team is the flexibility and support you offer, and the team approach taken by the hotel staff.

Generally good with room being decent size and comfy bed. As with most hotels, there is not a good mirror for putting on make up. The bar was a bit hit and miss. Stood there for a few minutes whilst the barman sorted out an issue with the till and then when another joined him, he almost started serving someone who had just got to the bar.

We only stayed for one night in an Executive room for 3 people, it was very satisfactory, spacious and comfortable. Bar and restaurant facilities also very good and all staff very helpful.

Have stayed on several occasions in the past. Clean, pleasant staff and a good breakfast. Not so happy with the £10.00 per night parking charge for residents, other hotels which I have stayed at do not levy a parking charge for residents.

We have stayed here several times now before boarding a cruise the following morning. The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are decent. The breakfast as always was very good. I feel they could be doing with some more staff on during check in and check out as despite having pre-checked in before arrival, i still had to stand around for quite a while before being given my keys as only 1 member of staff was handling that side of things

We have stayed many times. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, cooked the gluten free breakfast separately which is something we don’t find everywhere. Decent restaurant food, though if we eat there we tend to eat in the bar. It does cost £10 per day to park but is free for disabled which is a nice touch. Room rate varies from the very reasonable to the unreasonable.

Cruising from Southampton the following day made this hotel the perfect choice as we were able to park the car overnight and it was a very short drive to the dock gate the next day. Having stayed here before we were very happy to experience the same high standard of room,food and service.

I arrived at just after 11 and was leaving at 7am. The check in process was not particularly efficient (seemed slow) I was given a room which when I got there was occupied by someone else. The second room was comfortable but it appeared there was aircon but it didn't work.
