« Great location »

We stayed for one night with our 12 year old daughter. The room was well presented and there was a made up double sofa bed. Hotel very convenient location. We were on the 5th or 6th floor and facing the back but there was still occasional noise from revelers during the night but being so central to Birmingham we expected that and it was not too disruptive. Comfy room. Our 2nd stay and we would stay again.

A comfortable secure hotel in a very convenient location for the symphony hall and Rep Theatre, and a reasonable walk to New St station. My only dislikes were that the bar area was rather impersonal and lacked atmosphere, and I didn't like having a separate toilet with no wash basin. Apart from that we had an enjoyable stay and would stay again.

Stay was great - clean room, spacious and felt fresh. Only thing I would suggest is adding handwash in bathroom and adervtising that the toilet and sink/shower are in separate rooms.

The sauna & steam room both have been out of use for many Months! Also it is not mentioned when booking. I normally stay at Novotel 3 to 4 times a each year. So we may have to book elsewhere

« Disappointed with Noise levels over night »

The room was lovely, however we were woke by foreign people shouting at 4.45 in the morning, in the corridor. They then moved to a room, but the noise was still extremely loud stil, and continued for an hour. It woke myself, my husband and 2 daughters. It was then difficult to get back to sleep once the noise eventually stopped. Rooms were also very warm over night despite the thermostat being down low. This made it uncomfortable to sleep in.
