The room I stayed in 109 was good and to my liking. It was too bad that I had to move for my extra night! I also found the food much better in général than last year, a pleasant surprise. Though I do not eat met at all the entrée was often garnished with meat product and I had to ask every time to have the starter without meat, therefore to be made to wait. It was also disappointing to have to attend an osteopath outside though I had been told that I would have the last free appointment on that Wednesday, but as the internet was not working, that appointment disappeared an only because I went to check was I told, as no one had bothered to tell me, which they could have done , therefore I walked to the osteopath office for an appointment. It helped but then the douche à jet treatment was to powerful and the operative didn't bother to ask me and there was nothing I could do or say as the damage was done. I had had a fall the night before getting to the thalassotherapy and the only appointment I cn have with a cranial osteopath will be this Monday...In the meantime I am in pain... just because of one treatment. I had booked to return from the 10th of November but had to cancel as there will not be train from Paris to St Malo, and I had already booked a Eurostar seat to be able to make that date...

Everything about this hotel ticked the boxes- seaside, swimming pool. Room was good- not quite 4 star. Our biggest problem was the dinner. Restaurant standard wasn’t good and not suitable for kids so had to eat out every night. Much better food in local restaurants.

we stayed for 5 nights - location of the hotel is beautifully- the room was ok but a bit small. Breakfast buffet was good (we found it very strange that it was ok to have breakfast in a bath-rope) , service ok, Reception staff really arrogant - no explanation was given when internet collapsed for over one day - no excuse for incorrect final invoice and not even a corrected one printed out. We have not paid in any hotel 23 Euros per night for the dog. The gym has - unbelievable!- no air-condition ....overall we had a good stay but left with a bad experience.

Hotel was ok, room were not clean when we check-in (spider web + dust). We had to call twice before that 75% of the spider web were taken out. We had also the bad experience to get the lavabo was blocked giving some bad smell. This has been fixed quite quickly to say the truth by the Mgt. WE have noticed also that the daily cleaning was probably done a bit quickly. Staff was globally friendly but two major concerns : first with reception staff which did not answered properly our query regarding misconduct of person with their dog (email sent to the hotel and discussion held with reception mgt), secondly we had the bad experience to get the room 341 just front of the cleaning room where staff is getting rest. one afternoon, I had personally to go inside this room to stop cleaning staff yelling on each other... This is not the standard you expect from the staff of a Novotel. We have a positive discussion at the end of our journey with the reception manager but we had to say the truth that our experience is below our expectation and we had a greater experience at the Castel Clara in the past for almost the same level of price. To conclude on a positive part, independently of the weather the location of the hotel is perfect allowing beautiful sight to the outside.

The hotel is ideally located close to the sea among a lush vegetation. Very peaceful. The room was lovely. Very relaxing decoration with wooden floor and wall covering together with a canopy in blue tones materials. A hidden well equipped kitchen corner and a nice bathroom. Very clean. Perfect for me.

This was my second time coming to your hotel. This time I had brought my mother, who had just moved house and was recovering from a stressful time. We had such a lovely time. The hotel, the Thalsso, the staff, everything. Thank you so much. You lifted my mothers spirits so much. I'd like to give a special mention to the kind young waiter at dinner, older waiter with grey hair and great english, the excellent ladies in the thalasso, especially the lady with blonde hair and brown glasses who loves Ireland.

I am a little disappointed. The location is perfect. And that's all that's worth praising. Hotel rooms should be renovated. Breakfast very poor and expensive. Staff at the bar without English. A room much worse than 10 years ago.

My wife and I found it very expensive for 8 day stay = €2,002 We could not afford the breakfast at €19.50 each, so we ate out in St. Enogas and Dinard. We did enjoy the piano bar for an aperitif each evening, before going out to dinner in restaurants, where there was more atmosphere than the hotel eating area. We enjoyed the pool area and swimming pool, without which we would have stayed elsewhere. I keep getting e mails from Accor and Thalasso, offering large discounts, but ONLY if you buy 'soins'. These discounts are a bit of a con because they do not apply to hotel stays only. I am sorry to say there are far better hotels in Dinard and St. Malo for much less than €298 per night.

Overall we enjoyed our stay in your hotel that has a wonderful location and friendly staff. But: Offered a room that had a very bad smell - given another smaller room. Drinks and food seemed expensive. Door stop not secured to wall - just dropped out when door touched it. Found fire extinguisher knocked off wall and laying on floor. Other cars in disabled [PMR] parking not showing blue badges. Hotel had an air of being very mechanical and run for profit and not customers. No instructions in rooms about how to use the rooms equipment - Air con, TV, Coffee maker, etc No obvious emergency evacuation instructions. No information about the hotel - just about the spa.
