Very comfortable beds. Relaxed and cosy atmosphere throughout Reception. Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. Only inconvenience was the restaurant not serving dinner at the weekends. We stayed for 2 weekends and didn’t have a car so it was a hassle having to go out especially late. But overall a very good hotel and comfortable very clean rooms.

You need to become more international. Menu's in the restaurant was only available in french, and emails about check-out was in french only even though the preferred language in my profile is english.

Just OK. The place is not a Mercure like we would like to see them. Menu does not change very often. Reception staff is nice, but make a lot of mistakes. I hope the whole new set up works for them

« A very bad experience »

I had a very bad experience at mercury Sophia. I probably got the worst room in this hotel, 1st floor with views to the parking lot, 2 tiny beds with a very dirty and old bathroom. Also, I didn’t get the welcome drink and by the time I checked out I was charged for 2 days breakfast that I didn’t have... I am a platinum member and I travel a lot to Sophia and I really think that probably next time I will reserve in another hotel.

Although the experience at this hotel was pleasant, it isn't really set up for the needs of a business traveler. The staff were pleasant to deal with, and check in was definitely an easy experience. My room was nice enough - standard Mercure set up (apart from the exercise bike and wall bars in my room), with a small terrace outside. However, for me, there were not enough available plug sockets, and the table was difficult to work at. Also, as I arrived early afternoon, there was no opportunity to get any food until the evening. But overall, a pleasant stay

Hotel facilities and location is good. Service is bad. The hotel is hosting a lot of concert or celebrations which make it uncomfortable for guests. At some nights we had trouble to find a parking place due to events taking place in hotel. Around 50% of plates and glasses provided in restaurant during breakfast were dirty. The breakfast does not worth the price. The selection of sausage is very limited.

« Good but smart invoicing is not yet that smart »

Twice already that I get an automated invoice when I leave, great less hassle at checkout, BUT twice that I get wrongly charged for breakfast when I didn't take any breakfast. And then have to go through the hassle of asking for a new invoice and a refund for the breakfasts.
