Nice hotel, however no bars of soap in rooms, no coffee or tea making facilities, no room temperature control and no air flow, no refrigerator.

Dear ALAN B., These few words to thank you for taking time to complete the satisfaction survey at the end of your last stay in Ibis hotel in Pornichet. By reading your comment and by analyzing the average of your marks, I regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and that you were disappointed by the quality of our services. The absence of air conditioning represents a recurring remark. It ‘s true that, since a few years, the summer temperatures can exceed 30 °, which was very exceptional 5 years ago. To improve the comfort of our customers, we’ve decided to install air conditioning for next summer. As regards the equipment of our rooms, as the welcome tray (with tea, coffee) and the mini – bar, we have to respect the brand charter. The equipments – as those mentioned above- are reserved specifically for hotels of superior category. In any case, I hope you’ll give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. We were very pleased to have the usual level of good quality and service that we expect, from this IBIS hotel. Even the dinners were very good for a hotel of this level. We were pleasantly surprised and compliments to the chef. The cleanliness, comfort and modern interior of the rooms were very good however, the ONLY major drawback to this hotel is the lack of air conditioning - especially since we visited during one of the hottest summers.

As we are used to expecting from IBIS, the room and service, were worthy of the price-quality we paid. The cleanliness of the rooms, the reception and breakfast/dinner areas were very good. No icky feelings anywhere and very happy and content with the hotel. The ONLY drawback is unfortunately that there is no air conditioning in the rooms - as we visited in one of the hottest summers ever, +30 degrees, this was sorely missed.

room south oriented, extremely warm, no air conditioning, the bed very small, extremely noisy outside at night, we had to close the window to sleep, extremely unpleasant, never more back to this hotel. The situation is good, the staff very kind. NoT a good choice for summer vacation at all.

M.& Mrs. G., I regret that your stay was not up to your expectations. The cause is simple: extremely high temperatures this summer and non-air-conditioned rooms. I understand that you slept badly because you had to leave the window open to get some fresh air. This will not happen again because our rooms will be air conditioned for the summer of 2019. Hotel location is not bad, is clean, small room, no air-condition, have to open the window to sleep but if you have a child will be dangerous to leave the window open. I got mislead by the website, they showed the swimming pool and that's the reason I booked the hotel; however, I have to paid eur12 per person if need to swim.

The staff here could not have been more obliging when we arrived early for check in, our room at the rear of the hotel was very clean and comfortable, no aircon but with a shady balcony to sit out on. A kettle with tea/coffee etc. was provided on request. The lovely sandy beach was literally just across the road and our dinner and breakfast at the restaurant was excellent quality and value. Recommend booking ahead for secure underground parking as area is very popular and on road parking in short supply. The pool is only available as part of an extra cost giving access to spa facilities, did not try this due to lack of time. Only negative was the bar ran out of gin but it was the World Cup final and the atmosphere was amazing! Will definitely return for a longer stay.

From our arrival to our departure we found the hotel excellent, the property was clean, the food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, the rooms were as expected but the most impressive thing of all was the quality of the staff who were friendly attentive and helpful. A superb stay thanks to all who made it so.

I have stayed in your hotel many times before. The room I had this time (room 512) was not as good / not as modern as previously (room 312). It is frustrating that the lighting is not controlled at one point when you exit the room (card control) and you have to go back and turn all the lights off when you leave or waste electricity (environmental impact must be high). The room remains a bit dark even with all of the lights on - perhaps as there is no central ceiling light - just not very bright wall lights. The staff are always very pleasant.
