Very good experience,meaning overall rating, but for rooms at level 7th we encounter some problem with some noise above us(sky lounge) and some trash from that area, as well. We hope that this can be easily solve with some solutions from your side.

Privilege room was directly below rooftop bar. Music was playing until midnight and could also hear chairs being moved around as guests came and went. Not good when trying to sleep. Room was rather basic, but the size of the terrace was good (although noise from the bar above was annoying). Complimentary mini-bar with water and soft drinks is a good idea and was appreciated. The accommodation was overpriced for what we got.

« Very nice stay but busy breakfast »

Very nice and spacious room. The only downside is the breakfast. When you arrive there it is super busy. The clients eat like wolves and the breakfast team is kind of slow.

« September weekend in Nice »

Good location, close to the beaches, main attractions and good restaurants. Room was clean but a bit hot for sleeping comfortably. Air con is not efficient, needs attention. Also, there seems to be a problem with a sink in our room as it wasn't draining properly. Staff attempted to repair, was ok initially then became slow again. Good experience overall.

« Junior suite adequate with plenty of room and balcony, but could be nicer. Hotel in great loctaion. »

The junior suite had planty of room and a nice balcony overlooking the street and the Cathedrale de Notre Dame church. Room itself was OK, serviceable but not upscale. We had multiple problems with the electrical outlets but they were serviced quickly. Hotel is in a great location and seems to be in close walking distance of everything - food, shopping, attractions, and tram stop. Housekeeping service was excellent and timely, although we would have appreciated more than just the 2 large towels (and a few smaller towels) per day. Rooftop lounge has a scenic view and is a good place to relax. Breakfast was included in our package and was available from 6-11AM. Although we often had to ask staff to refill empty items, they did so quickly. Breakfast was adequate and provided a good start to the day without us having to find fod and waste time elsewhere. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

« Great hotel, perfect location, but the experience was spoiled by the noisy room. »

I stayed in a Privilege Room (704) and the noise from the bar above was unbearable. The sound of people walking, chairs being moved across the floor and the music was just too much. After the first night I enquired about another room but was told all other Privilege Rooms were booked. When I complained on checking out I was basically just dismissed with a “sorry but there’s nothing we can do”. It was a lot of money for a disappointing experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great spot, right in town and close to the train station. I did leave my towels hanging up but they kept replacing them them. European towels seem to be very small and thin. Good size, clean room.

There was some food left every morning at the hotel, new ones were introduced very slowly. Room cleaning was very good but no toilet paper was brought. The pool is awesome as well as the terrace. Very good and nice Hotel.

Our arrival was severely marred by the receptionist - Alexandra I think - who acted like she could not be less bothered about checking us in. The room wasn’t ready, nor was the key, I had to remind her that I was a Gold Le Club member, had to remind her that I was entitled to drinks vouchers, had to ask how to get to our room, had to ask where breakfast was - I gave up at this point, and returned to reception hours later once she had gone home and got the rest of the details about the hotel. We witnessed her checking someone in after us, and giving them all of the information she had neglected to give us - it felt like a bit of a personal insult. Absolutely NOT how I expect to be welcomed to an Accor property as a Gold member. There was no welcome gift in our room, either. The first room we were given was diabolical. There was absolutely nothing “privilege” about it - the ceiling above the balcony doors was damaged in 4 places, the TV did not face the bed but instead faced the wall, the wall where the TV was mounted was for some reason built into the room itself, with the space behind it still visible - a mass of wires, damaged ceiling and dust. The bathroom was small with barely any room to sit on the toilet, with the toilet brush holder hanging off the wall. The bed was small, hard, and uncomfortable. My partner had arranged this for a birthday trip for me, and had informed the hotel extensively of this via email. All there was to show for it was a hastily typed “happy birthday” note in an envelope in the room - it didn’t even have my name on it. For a supposedly four star hotel I would have expected much more effort. As a comparison, a Novotel we stayed in in Madrid at the start of the year offered chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten welcome note from the general manager. THAT is how you welcome loyal guests. After a complaint we were upgraded to a junior suite which was marginally better - still the same drab and run down decor though. The bathroom was better. Breakfast was terrible with an incredibly limited selection. We were so disappointed to be offered an “American” breakfast in a French hotel in a French city, and other than the provision of horrible tasting pancakes I could not see what was American about it. The pastries (a choice of 2) were often stale, on 2 out of 3 mornings the hot food was either Congealed or not there at all, and the meats/cheeses looked so dry they may as well have been plastic. The pool area is average, and the bar overpriced. The location was the only above average thing about this hotel. I am still awaiting an email copy of my invoice which the receptionist, upon check-out, told me he had sent there and then. Such a disappointing stay, and despite enjoying Nice as a city will not be so keen on returning to your run-down “4 star” hotel.

On arrival my bank card was blocked for 5 working days by the hotel; however the total hotel cost was prepaid. Coffee was not replaced and no shower cap was provided during the entire stay. The terrace was awesome!

Parking charge in close parking house was extremely high, considering the entire hotel cost. On arrival, €200 was blocked on my bank card card and released after 5 working days. For a Gold Card member, I feel, this was unfair treatment. Coffee and sugar was not replaced.
