We were there during a heat wave so the A/C was barely coling the room. Due to security the electric plug in bathroom is only for shavers suggest that a note be included in brochure with all services avail at hotel and a label put nexy to plug. Restaurant decor austere, needs life. Brf varied and good'nice room.

Overall we have a good stay, staff was friendly, room was clean, location is great! Only one downside, when we arrived the first day the soap dispenser was empty, we called housekeeping - no answer. We called again on the second day, the housekeeping answered but it took the almost one hour to bring the soap. Other than that we have a pleasant stay.

As a family we loved the hotel. A huge room (Privelege) with separate bedroom for the kids was a winner for both them and parents. The breakfast selection was superb, and the whole hotel just extremely clean and tidy. A really comfortable and enjoyable stay

This property is in need of a makeup. It has a front door on level -1 and a back door to the railway station on level 0. The lobby while having some exquisite art nouveau is a train wreck seemingly decorated by high school students. Rooms are also tired and in need of a revamping . Breakfast is adequate. Staff not always helpful. For example when I requested a taxi, I was told that I could get one in the railway station. Basically non descript hotel and very unmemorable. So sorry we stayed there.

We picked this hotel because it was in the centre of Lyon.When we entered reception we were wowed by the decor and the standard of the wood carvings and art nouveau paintings. The reception staff could not have been more helpful. Our room was on the first floor and parking very convenient. Our bedroom was superb. A large room with all facilities including a fridge etc. The bathroom was fairly big and had plenty of room. The room was very clean and comfortable and the air conditioning was great. We decided to dine in our first night and we were not disappointed. It had a beautifully decorated bar which was well stocked. Although the menu choice could have been wider our choices did not disappoint and the meal was very flavoursome. After a good nights sleep we went down for breakfast.............. I have stayed in quite a number of hotels throughout France but I must say this is the best breakfast we have ever been served. The decor in the breakfast room added to the pleasure.Everything you could possibly want. Scrumptious. We were sorry to leave but hope to return some day. Thank you to all the staff for a superb stay.

The AC didn't work properly in either of the 2 rooms my family and I stayed in. It just blew out room temperature air. No proper from service after hours( A club sandwich was the only available option). The rooms were weird. The sink was not with the toilet - it was on the other side of the room. Walls were badly plastered and painted - not done by a professional. No entrance to the parking from the hotel. You had to go outside to the street and ring a bell to get access.

I stayed during a busy period for the hotel. The room was comfortable and the staff were both friendly and helpful. However, there was clear evidence that the hotel had planned poorly for demand in terms of food. On one night I attempted to order food in the bar, and was informed that the bar was too busy. I then attempted to order room service. The room service was too busy to take an order initially, but called back after 30 minutes as promised. The food arrived after a further 25 minutes. The staff were polite, friendly and apologetic and the food was fine once it arrived. The following night I had arrived back at the hotel late and attempted to order room service from the limited out of hours menu. Unfortunately I was told there was no food available at all. Again, the staff member was friendly and polite. Both these episodes showed poor planning by hotel management, although staff did their best to help.

Our stay was not as comfortable as we would have expected with a ACCOR hotel. Air conditioning did not work in the room which required us to sleep with windows open to keep the room at a tolerable temperature- it was cooler outside than inside the majority of the time. Staff were not as helpful as would have been expected and we were told breakfast was not included (as a platinum member) but on checkout they asked if we had had our breakfast? Not the same standard of service that is delivered by Mercure in Australia. Room was great size and clean, free minibar and the daily replenishments was greatly appreciated
