Overall a very good experience, however when I returned to the hotel on one of the days keys to the rooms had been changed without any notification to guests. I had to walk around looking for hotel staff for an explanation and was informed that I had to change my keys at the reception.

Great stay with easy access from Cologne Hbf. The only drawback for me is, I’m traveling with a friend. The bathroom is with transparent glass which a bit awkward for us.

« All round great hotel in convient position with efficient staff and comfortable, stylish interior. »

We stayed during a very hot spell and although the air con was not working very effectively in our room, the hotel staff were quick to respond to our request for an electric fan in the room which worked well in keeping us cool. The updating of the hotel interior (public areas) is stylish. There was some noise from the work continuing in the hotel which was at times intrusive during the day (not at night). The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful with our queries.

Good & clean rooms. Breakfast too extensive (expensive) for a business traveler. Many small mistakes by a very young staff. Despite the fact that I filled out the app, the booking process and check-in, it still seems to be very difficult to make an invoice on the company name. In this survey, the question "how did you book your hotel" does not contain the answer "Via the app".

We appreciated your understanding regarding our delayed arrival due to flight delays and also our difficulty with the duvet - we find European style bed covers a bit too hot for summer and prefer just a cotton sheet (bettlaken). Although the room was small we liked the layout and design - a good use of space; we could put one suitcase on the bench seat and the other on the small window table. The bathroom was well set out and clean.

It was very good. Checked in on the day before my birthday and the recedition staff noted this on my arrival. To my surprise they left a note and a little cake in my room the day of my birthday with a notte signed by all the staff. It really made my stay so memorable and special. The location and facilities at the hotel were great. Friendly staff and a good restaurant. There were two concerns however - the airconditioning could not cope with the extreme heat which entailed us to change rooms twice and the lift for the parking was not functional.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The stay itself had some negatives: - one of the two lifts near the lobby is out of service for repairs - long waits and taking the stairs ensued. - the room was a bit on the small side - in particular wardrobe space is too scarce. - who came up with the idea of the glass separating room and shower? Depending on where the other guest sits, you don't even have privacy on the toilet, let alone under the shower.

I have been staying a couple of times before in this hotel. The service is still the same: excellent. And the necessary finally took place: renovation of the rooms. It is for sure an improvement. Especially the standard and business room are very small (16sqm) and it felt like that with the old style. The renovated rooms feel a bit bigger due to a nice open shower concept. Nice! This Time only fit a courtyard view. Looking forward to staying there again, next time with cathedral view hopefully :)

The staff were very cordial and professional. The accommodations were situated within 3 min walk to the cathedral, train station, and all the shopping and eating you could imagine. Nice breakfast. I had left an item in the room and Clara was very nice to assist in its return. The elevators are very very slow and more people take the stairs than the actual elevator. I would recommend an upgrade.

The hotel was great, completely modernized bedrooms and great breakfast. The only problem is that the bath/shower has a completely transparent window to the room that allows one to see everything, leaving no privacy. I had to ask my friend to stay out of the room while I was in shower. As this is unusual, it should be properly advised before reservation was done.
