« Good value in an expensive town »

I really didn't expect much but really it was perfectly acceptable. The rooms are on the small side but that's to be expected, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast was generous for €10 and the hotel is very nicely positioned just behind the Rue D'Antibes. Beaches, La Croisette etc are a mere 5 minutes away.

We had a pleasant stay, the rooms are a reasonable size and the facilities are good. We did have two issues, firstly we found the room very warm but the a/c would not work as we were told it was still winter and we should open our window. That created the second issue because below our first floor window is a low wall where people either smoke, gather for a drink or talk loudly when you are trying to sleep. Breakfast was fair but the egg boiler took more then 10 minutes to cook an egg and at times the staff were slow at replenishing the buffet. The location is quite good with 10 minutes to the front. There is a pizza restaurant virtually next door which is very good and a bar next to that. There are a couple of supermarkets in the same street and a market at the bottom. The bus and train station are 10 minutes away.

Hello Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Our hotel is located in the city center, 5 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants and the famous Croisette! At this time we have no heating / air conditioning, actually the days are ok but the nights are cold. We are sorry people in the street have bothered you. We serve a buffet breakfast from 6.30am to 10am with fresh market produce and varied. We hope to welcome you on a future stay Marion / font desk

it was not easy to understand the guide which worked at night and also un the morning. cant understand how she can be in the restaurant and the same time serve people at the desk and ... it wasnt easy for us and also you dont have free parking.

didn't like the hosterers/ not pleasent. There was no good conection wuth the service. Dont remember exectly what was our problem but... also they dont know good English. The hotel doesnt have free parking and 1 worker is also the maneger and the hoster and the kitchen worker

I booked the hotel through Accor.com and at that time I decided to redeem my points. During check-out, I enquired if it's possible to make full payment. Staff said it's not possible as the system is already automated. I do hope Ibis can be more flexible in accommodating the changes in future. Also, I was advised the invoice would be emailed to me. No invoice sent to me until today.

You stayed in our hotel during a congress period, which explains the higher price. Hotels operate with supply and demand, as well as airline tickets. « I asked for a quiet room, I do not think it was taken into consideration »

When I arrived I was first given a room with a direct door in communication with another room. I could distinctly hear people talking next door (and not just talking, but the single words that they were using), so I asked to be changed room straight away. I did not appreciate being given such a room when I explicitly asked for a quiet room in the booking form. The second room I was given was fine, but for two nights there were strange noises, rather late in the night (i.e. 2:00-3:00 am) that looks like people were moving furnitures around, and at one point I think one woman was crying. Everything else was fine, but I would not call that a quiet room. I suggested in my booking form a room on the top floor, at the end of the corridor (as I was given the last time I was in the same hotel, last year).
