Really enjoyed our stay, nice area and good hotel. The only minor was the fact that staff at breakfast seemed to be cleaning the area all the time throughout the two mornings we were there, even though the breakfast time runs until late.

Ibis in Paris was ok, nothing to complain about. Breakfast was a little over priced compared to other Accor facilities. The parking facilities let this property down but charging ridiculous amounts of money for 3 days, €81 total

« We Thought it would be great stay in Paris for our dream trip of 5 years of marriage, but it was not !! »

I booked the hotel for 2 days (Oct 31st and Nov 1st.), the reception staff were very flat faced, did not greet with a smile and welcome to the hotel. The room I got (paid about $160 per night), the room was very small, we could not even put our two suitcases properly: the toilet and bath was very small, like in the airplane, there were no Iron, no tea or coffee, water, no refrigerator or microwave in the room. We still decided to stay two more days. When we extend two day more, we asked the reception if they can give us our new room (which we paid for Executive room $180 per night). The reception people, told us we have to check out and check in, bring our luggage to downstairs at 12 noon and check in again at 2pm. So we pack our bags, and brought them again downstairs at the reception on Nov 2nd at noon, the young girl in reception was very unprofessional and rude to us, we asked her where we can place our luggage for next 2 hours, she took us to a office and showed us to place them on the corner of that room, while I was putting my backpack on the corner, there was a plastic folder holder (cost in office depot @ $3) in the wall, and it was broke, I said sorry about that, the girl was mad and she told that to another lady sitting nearby, the receptionist girl got very annoyed and rude, but I was ready to pay for it. Then she told that to all other reception staffs, in the hotel. after two days living in a executive suit when we were living on 4th November, we asked the reception people if we can leave our luggage for several hours and pick up in the evening when leave for the Airport, they said flat out NO. Although previous night we asked night reception person, that if we can leave our luggage for several hours and pick them up in the evening. We never expected these kind of bad customer service in a 3 star hotel like IBIS, these kind of customer service will make you lose many American Customer like us in future. The reception staffs need to be trained in good customer service with smile, ready to serve the customers, customers are the backbone of any business. We are not happy with IBIS service!!

« Three day stay before returning to Australia after a cruise. »

My wife and I have stayed here before a couple of years ago, not much has changed except the reception area. Not too sure whether I like this trend to do away with the reception desk and it was not clear who was staff at first. Staff friendly and efficient, room was tiny as per Ibis hotels, bed okay, breakfast usual continental and ok. The location is good with Metro, restaurants close by and easy walk to Eiffel Tower.

« Great location for this hotel »

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights for the Halloween week-end. The reception was all decorated with Halloween stuff, the staff also wore costumes, and there was even a party on Halloween's night. As Ibis is a hotel chain, there was no surprise to me when it comes to quality of the room, the breakfast, etc. I was surprised though that the people at the reception were so poorly customer oriented, did not pay enough attention to our questions, and even were giving conflicting messages on a very specific topic as if they did not care about the customers. Luckily, the staff at the bar was great.

« Great location and comfortable beds »

Hotel in good location close to nearby restaurants, shops etc. Room was rather warm as air not very efficient but it was clean and beds were comfortable. Would have been good to be able to get a cup of tea/coffee early in the morning - even a vending machine with hot water. Overall very satisfied though.

The hotel has a amazing location near subway and 15 walking to Eiffel tower. The room is really small. The fan in the toilet can not be turned off and it is noisy all night. The quality of the toilet paper is terrible. Nice breakfast

« Noisy and disruptive »

We specifically asked for a quiet room in the advanced check in since we were arriving on an overnight flight. Instead, we were placed in a room directly above construction in the hotel and woke to drilling and pounding. We asked and finally received a new room. There could have been much better communication about the hotel construction improvements when we checked in. The last two days of the stay were as expected.

« Easy to get to by RER »

This place makes a great base if you are staying in Paris, it is close to a metro station as in very close. Their facilities are good, with a great coffee bar by reception, the Champagne bar is also a nice place to experience as is their restaurant. My room was clean and comfortable. What more could you ask for.

Location is good closed to metro station and walking distance to Eiffle. Receptions no service mind. In brochure given in the guest room saying smiling staff reality totally opposite. No one smiling nor say hello and not helpful. Just like a machine that you installed there. So far this is the worst reception we ever met in Ibis hotel that we stay in France. They treat you like you beg them for a room to stay. If not because of location, we will definitely not staying here.

Rooms too small and bathroom was way too small. There’s barely enough to shower. The check in experience takes too long and the way it’s set up is awkward with only 1 check in desk. The lobby is too busy for the stand up desk by the restaurant opening. The room card would not work most of the time and I would have go back to lobby and wait in line to get it to work again.

I booked a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and requested we have twin beds. On arrival we discovered we had neither a view or the bed configuration we requested. When I spoke to reception they advised they had none left and we were moved due to our bedding request. I find this hard to believe as we were not given the Twin Bedding in the first place. Twice through out our stay our room keys stopped working so after getting to the 8th floor and walking to the opposite end of the building we had to make the trip back. Finally on the day of departure we checked out and asked to leave our luggage with reception. We were directed to go downstairs and follow the signs to the baggage storage. Once we arrived we found they were lockers and only took coins. Of course we were shocked- firstly as we have NEVER been charged for luggage storage and secondly there was no warning from reception that the machines only took coins when we first asked, so again we had to trek back to reception to have them change our notes. On each of their own, these things are quite miniscule (except for the room mix up, coming all the way from Australia, I was really quite excited to be able to see the Eiffel Tower all night, so I'm still very angry about this), but all added up they put quite a dampener on the atart of our holiday. I am a travel agent in Australia and Paris is very popular with our clients. I will certainly not be recommending this property to anyone!
