It was not a pleasant stay. Hotel has adopted all possible measures to cut its costs at the cost of guest'experience.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We unfortunately have no idea why you were so disappointed of your stay. Neither did ne know about cleaning issues with your room nor did we experience disappointment concerning our breakfast. We check our fruit and all of our goods on a daily basis and hygiene is one of our main aspects. We furthermore have regular, external checks for the hygiene standards. Additionally, we would like to assure we do not cut costs - especially not when it comes to guest experience and satisfaction. Since I could not enter the data of my credit card via an insecure internet connection for the online registration, my stay was automatically cancelled at 7 p.m. without prior notice. I found this email very inconvenient. Fortunately there was still a free room so that I could stay, but what if not?

Hier werden sämtliche wichtigen Vorabinformationen zu Ihrem Aufenthalt übermittelt - so auch die bei uns geltenden Garantiebestimmungen. Die Garantie Übermittlung muss nicht unbedingt Online, sondern kann auch telefonisch erfolgen. Wenn Sie sich für die Onlinevariante entscheiden - sei es via Email oder durch Auswahl der entsprechenden Option in der Reservierungsbestätigung - werden die Daten sicher an uns übermittelt. This was another successful stay at a familiar establishment. You won’t go wrong choosing this establishment. From the reception staff to the breakfast team the service was friendly and efficient. I was very pleased with the quality and selection of breakfast. My only negative was the bathroom in the junior suite which was not in keeping with the very positive experience of everything else.

We visit Aachen once a year to visit family and always stay at Ibis Aachen Hauptbahnhof. It is conveniently situated , comfortable and staff are always friendly and helpful. Extremely good value for money with inclusive buffet breakfast.

« Knowing the standard of other Ibis Hotels I was rather disappointed »

I've been to other Ibis Hotels in different countries and the standard was higher. The bathroom is super tiny and there's so little space between the sink and the wall or toilette and the all that I can imagine a bigger person to fit there. The hotel definitely needs to be refurnish as the walls where scratched and stains on the walls. Overall it was clean just a little bit neglected. The bed was comfortable and the cooling system work. The windows are good isolating, so the noise from the street could not have been heard, however the corridor noise was slightly disturbing. I did not take breakfast but I heard it from colleagues it was good. The water jar at the reception was very helpful during the hot days.

Stayed for 2 nights, however after 1 night the room was not cleaned. Sheets got stains, bed was really bad quality, airconditioning not cooling enough. Was completely exhausted after trying to sleep for 2 nights in this Hotel. Even asking to clean the sheets, exchange towels and add toiletpaper, the sheets were not changed. Will never come again in this Hotel!

The cleaning of sheets in our house, due to economical reasons and environment protection, is done upon every departure and - for our staying guests - every two days. We hope for your appreciation. I am very sorry that your room had not been cleaned. Did you report that to our front office direclty? Due to our 15 minute guest satisfaction policy we solve every problem that we are responsible for within 15 minutes - or you get your money back. Furthermore, we would like to excuse for your experience with our air condition. Did you have problems with the regulation or was it not working though? In your period of stay no other issues were reported and the air condition is controlled centrally. We hope to welcome you soon in our hotel and convince you with our service. I enjoyed the friendly staff on the front desk and appreciated the large array of options for breakfast. My room was not always made up each day though this may have been my fault as there were times during the day when I placed the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. I did request extra hangers from my room but these never appeared. Overall, though, my room was quiet, pleasant, and perfectly satisfactory.
