Check in and out was quick. Location was very central to Brussels Centraal. Everyone was friendly. Will stay there next time in Brussels

« A big disappointment »

A big let down after a lovely Ibis in Brugge. Indifferent welcome by sour faced Reception Staff and a small, claustrophobic room. The bathroom was so small you could hardly get into the shower. The deco of the hotel was horrible and grim. The only good things were excellent breakfast and comfortable beds.

While booking the hotel with i have provided my card to confirm the reservation we had to stay for 6 night the hotel has charged me almost the full amount upfront from my card then when i arrived again the receptionist has requested me to pay full amount of the stay from my credit card i was trying to explain that the amount is been deducted before arrived and i showed her the message from my bank but she said it was only a pre authorization to block the amount till now my money is not back to the card ,i paid twice the stay.horrible experience.

A pre-authorisation is not a payment and only guarantees that there are funds available to pay for any charges incurred, this amount is usually 'blocked' on an account but not actually debited. Upon arrival, we ask our guests their preferred mode of payment and then proceed with debiting the correct amount. The pre-authorisation is usually removed between 5 - 10 working days afterwards depending on the bank. We advise our guests to contact their bank in case of any excessive delay. Simple hotel in centrum of Brussels , convinient for overnight or shopping in nearby arrea . Simple , noisy , poor ventilation . But close to restaurants , old city , metro and gare du central .Very small bathroom

« Excellent location, very nice breakfast, very small rooms »

The only negative point was that our room was very small. Generally we don't have problem with the small rooms but in this particularly you could not open the door because the bed was just behind the door due to lack of space. The bathroom was also tiny. However its location is excellent and breakfast more than decent. Staff was very polite and they even borrowed us an umbrella the day it was raining.

I stayed in Brussels for 2 nights in July to attend a meeting. Situated to the north of the city centre this hotel is within easy reach of the Metro and the trams which can take you to any of the main railway stations in Brussels. The staff at reception were polite and helpful on both arrival and leaving. My room was quiet and relatively cool for the time of year.

I had a nice stay at the hotel Ibis city centre. The employees are efficient and take care of the clients. The hotel is well located close to 2 railway stations and the city centre. The breakfast is very good.

Nice hotel near the metro. Room was quite small, but no fraffice noise from outside. Breakfast was not any special, but good selection of various items. Very helpfull staff.
