« Amazing service »

Extremely clean and safe hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly even offering help finding venues and things to do. 24 hours service is amazing as we didn’t return until 1:30 am and still had the option of food etc. Couldn’t have asked for a better location being so central. Room was clean and had everything needed for our stay. Late checkout meant we could get ready without rushing which was better than other hotel experiences I’ve had (even had the option to checkout at 5pm for an extra £10 which I think is an amazing idea for people who like to spend the whole day like me) for only £45 a night I can’t complain although I think breakfast being almost £10 is a little pricey!

« Not what I expected »

I normally stay at the Black Friars Ibis and I was expecting the same type of room and standard. The rooms were really small and the bathroom was a tight squeeze. It wasn't very comfortable at all. I won't be staying here again. The staff are very friendly though so I don't want to completely knock my stay, breakfast was okay but not enough choice to justify the money paid.

We stayed i. Room 125 it was tiny but we were only there one night. There was a distinct smell of oily food in there. I wouldnt choose to stay there again. But for £58 it was ok

« Altercations in the middle of the night and parking nightmare »

I'd like to start with saying that the hotel was modern and the rooms were functional, however the location should be made more obvious if you don't know the area as it is right near pubs and clubs. I was disappointed to be woken up twice in the middle of the night by drunken people shouting in the corridors on level 4. The police were called on 2 occasions and me and my family were unable to sleep. I was also not happy upon finding the secure car park was full so I had to park in another car park across the road. I was also told on the phone by accorhotels that the parking would cost me £6. I then found in the morning the parking was to cost me £12, and upon speaking to a member of reception staff to explain we were advised £6 when phoning she rather abruptly said "well it's £12 becuase that's the price" and refused to help any further. All in all a rather disappointing stay, and unexpected costs.

« Noisy! »

Stayed a few nights here over the weekend. The room was basic as expected for the price but very clean. Staff we very helpful and accommodating. The main concern was the level of noise. There was very loud music (either from downstairs or next door) from around 9pm on the Friday night until 4am. There was also other guests screaming and running down the corridor banging on doors at around 3 in the morning.

Check-in seamless. Staff polite. Food and bar good. Unbelievably noisy in room (303). Woken up countless times by revellers and car horns, someone also tried repeatedly to get in my room in the middle of the night by swiping the wrong room card and trying the door handle.

« Not able to sleep and had a issue with breakfast. »

Our room overlooked a night club which we only know about when it started playing loud music after 11pm and this went in until around 3am in both nights we where there.We was not told of this on check in so had no idea.On the last day we went down for breakfast and I was told we had not had breakfast included.Had to go back to my room and provide proof.

« poor sleeping let this stay down »

Brilliant location and clean hotel .24 hour service was great for grabbing a late meal. Staff were polite and friendly. Hard bed and close proximity to a nightclub led to a poor night & lack of sleep. Ear plugs helped with the music but the vibration could be felt through the bed. It closed at 4am.
