Good location and very neat environment. I will stay at the hotel again when I’m in Birmingham. The only advice is that the breakfast is cold not as hot as I want and I asked for fried egg, they didn’t make it for me. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay!

« Great location and very friendly staff »

I like the hotel as it is very close to the trains. I didn't like the fact that the telephones were gone. Not everyone has a cell phone with them so I wasn't able to get a wake up call. Also the heater / cooler didn't work very well. It was good thinking to have an extra fan in the room. Overall our stay was very good as usual and would certainly recommend it to my friends

« A new experience in a city centre hotel with a very modern approach. »

Easy to find. Good to have on-site parking. Good location. We really liked the modern no reception desk approach. Staff friendly and helpful. Room fairly basic but comfortable. As is usual room too warm at night. Some late night music noise on first night which was more noticeable because of need to open a window. Breakfast OK but had to ask for lots of things to be refilled/refreshed. Staff very responsive but would have been better not to have to ask quite as much.

Really enjoyed my recent stay. Relaxed atmosphere and had a slow late breakfast. Continental breakfast choice was limited coming down at 9am but that was my choice. Lovely staff in the reception and restaurant area's. Will be back.

Our room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat in, our mattress was as thin as a blanket, we had no quilt cover the first night, the second night after the room was cleaned we had no toilet paper or new towels and our new neighbors where trying to get in our room through the connecting door.

Location of hotel is excellent, walking distance to shops and sights. We were happy to catch Matilda the Musical as we had missed it while in London two weeks earlier. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Ibis.

This is the fourth Ibis hotel I have stayed in, and like the others I found it absolutely first rate for a brief stay. In future if I am staying in a strange city I will always look first for an Ibis. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, breakfasts delicious and staff friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the flimsy plastic glasses provided. Not even strong enough to hold water!

I was a bit disappointed with my stay at the hotel. Whilst it has a lot going for it ( friendliest staff, central location, cool updbeat lobby) , I was underwhelmed with the state of the rooms which I think are in need of a good refresh. I felt like stepping back in time, circa 1996. Such a contrast from your very cool lobby. Also, breakfast should be made available from 6:00, not 6:30 which is too late for a lot of us using Birmingham station as a place to commute from early in the morning. Last but not least, I need to report that housekeeping should be more focused when doing their job. On my second day at the hotel, I opened the door to find that the bathroom trash bag had been left open and moved to the carpet between the TV and the bed.

« A mixed experience. Hotel location noisy »

Check in was slow and not very efficient. Confusion over paid breakfast Booked three rooms for staff. Two slept badly due to nightclub nearby. Other room quiet. Staff seemed very pushed at breakfast and claimed we owed for breakfast but we proved at reception that we didn’t. Not a great feeling and made me feel staff we not sure what was going on fully.

Stayed here for 1 night only. There is a car park which is very convenient in Birmingham fro 12£/24hours.. Good welcome from smiling staff Small room but okay for the price and good comfortable bed, small shower. Correct breakfast

The stay was excellent as usual. Me and Ruben always have a friendly chat on arrival. Very accommodating and friendly person. The only issue was someone knocking on my door at 4 am sunday and realising he has the wrong room. Very annoying
