Family stay wth dog. Room was comfortable but perhaps a few extra sockets would have helped along with a kettle. Femme de chambre was very good.

We live life alternating between homes in England and France. Work over the years has led us to experience genuinely thousands of hotel stays. we diversified our normal route to stopover in Vichy. This hotel delivered on all counts when price is taken into consideration. Really great attentive staff from reception through to restaurant and check out. Evening meal, wine and simple buffet breakfast all good. Our only regret was that this was a stopover and we should have stayed a couple or more days to take in Vichy. We definitely will next time.

« Dog kept us awake had to change room at midnight. Bad sleep! »

We filled in before coming that we wished a calm room high up and not near the elevator. We got a nice room, it was actually a room for disabled , but we thought it was ok .A dog "crying" and barking on a balcony was really a nightmare for us. We felt bad for the dog of course and for us it was impossible to get to sleep. We called the reception desk and we got another room but on the 2nd floor in a non renovated room it was not what we expected. So we had to pack in all our things and move to the new room. We stayed there for the next night too since we did not want to bother to change again. The moving to another room that late in tjhe evening really disturbed my night and it was very hard to get a good night sleep. We talked to the staff at the reception desk and this "dog problem" was not new for them at all. They have tried to solve it but they had not managed to do anything about it at all. I am very surprised that your staff gave us this room in the first place when they knew that there was a risk with the "dog problem" especially when we had asked beforehand that we wanted a calm room. This is very unprofessional. Your staff did not even offer us any kind of compensation for our horrible night ? I expected at least for example extra points on my Accor card or a reduction on the hotel bill or something else.

On arrival we entered the building, saw 2people behind a desk, assumed this was reception. We stood in front of them, for 2 or 3 minutes and were completely ignored while they spoke to one another. I asked “pardon” where is reception. It is here was the answer! We were given a key, went to a small, dark, tired room. The corridor leading to it was in a poor state of repair, paintwork, doors, etc. We returned to reception, explained that this was nothing like the photos online which had prompted us to book. They gave us a second key: no different. Returned to reception, asked if we could pay more for an upgrade, answer was no. When we remembered that the website had mentioned rooms being renovated, a third key was given to us, but it was explained that no other option was available. This room was more recently decorated, and being on a higher floor, had more natural light, so we slept in this room. There was a marketing leaflet on the bed, called 15 minutes, explaining the mission of the group was to solve any issues within 15 minutes. However, no details of who to contact, and as just stated it had already been explained to us that there was no other option open to us. The bed and bedding were comfortable and clean, however the air conditioning did not work and the temperature was well over 30 degrees until early morning. We got very little sleep. There were no hand towels, just 2 bath towels. Overall, the hotel rooms were badly misrepresented online. As we had prepaid using an Accor loyalty membership, we could not do anything but accept what was offered to us at reception. This was very poor value, made worse by the promises that the Accor group make in their marketing

Nice hotel at great location in city centre of Vichy. Good restaurant nice and friendly staff. Standard rooms as we know in at a Ibis hotel. Only negative point, I had a room at the back of the hotel, and on the early morning the come take and deliver the towels/laundry of the connecting spa next door. So, theses trolleys make’s a lot of noise during the process and didn’t need a wakeup call at all.

We stayed for the second year running over the Ironman weekend. The attraction for us is principally that everything you need is here. Parking (for a fee) in an underground area, restaurant on site and handy for the town centre but easy to get to the race site too. If we had a comment it is that the restaurant food is limited if you are preparing for a race, last year more effort was made with special menus but little this year. The "Plats du Jour" were the same for 3 nights. early Breakfast on race morning was much appreciated!

There is one point which needs to be adressed : the cleanliness of the bedroom was rather average. Dust not well done. Bathroom sink not cleaned thourougly.
