« Great accommodation close to the conference venue and town centre. »

Very good! Check in was quick with friendly staff. I do not speak French so I was very appreciative of the fact the the desk staff spoke English. The room in which I stayed had excellent facilities. Apart from a false alarm evacuation of the building, the visit was excellent.

Hotel very convenient for transport links and conference centre. Room was clean and comfortable with nice view of the canal. Very quiet. The only thing I did not like about the room was having the WC separate from the bathroom and hand-washing facilities. The restaurant was very good with an excellent menu de soir option each evening.

« The room was uncomfortably hot. »

We enjoyed the city but not the hotel. it was a very warm weekend but the air conditioning in our room did not work. we reported this and were told that it was switched off. We asked for it to be switched on and the receptionist said she would ask the manager. As the next two night were equally uncomfortable we presume the manager preferred to save money over the comfort of the guests.

Good hotel and excellent people but is let down by the very limited menu. Also, the bar area is VERY uncomfortable if you are wanting to use a laptop.

« Below expectations »

Room was nice and clean, staff polite but: Forgot to tell me that the minibar was included in the price of my room Mentioned I was an Accor member but not told I was due a free drink voucher so had to bring it up later in the day. Lack of a gym is disappointing, and so is having to pay 10€ to use the gym next door. Should really be included in the price for a 180€. But mainly: no ironing board in the room (I would expect to have one in a Novotel) and when I asked for one had to pick it up from reception and carry it back to my room

From arrival to departure the service of the staff was first class - polite, respectful and attentive. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped with plenty of extras - tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries plus robes and slippers. I always go back to this same hotel wheneve I need to be in Nantes. Some of the employees already know me and are extremely kind and professional to me. But even those who haven’t seen me yet, have treated me in an excellent, prfessional way. Especial thanks to the lady at the reception desk on the morning of my departure (apologies, didn’t get her name) who did all the possible to accomodate my request of late checkout despite all the difficulties for granting me so. It made all the difference to be able to stay a couple more hours in the room and I’m truly thankful for that!

« No hot water for two nights in all room »

This hotel is the perfect location to visit CITE and I stayed several time with enough quality. This time the hot water wasn't available at the bathroom for two nights. According to the reception staff, it occured at all floors, so they said the room change would not solve the problem. So I had water bath several times in mid-Winter. Finally I could refleshed at the shower room in Business Class Lounge at the airport just before returning to home. Although it was a technical issue, the response was disappointing. At the first contact in the first night, the staff advised someone would visit my room in next early morning, and no one came until I asked again. Whenever I asked the situation, I heard "It will be fixed in a few hours" all times. I could understand even it take longer, if the information was accurate. For example, "We are now making the best effort, but the time is unknown at now" was fine for me. When the reception staff was not there for more than ten minutes, I asked to the dinning staff to call, he just said "They will comeback in two minutes" with no action. Another staff were just chatting at the lobby chairs, watching my standing in the front of the reception. Even the buzzer or the bell at the desk will help. Because I love this hotel and Accor Hotels network, and the customers will visit from all over the world, I would like to suggest to manage the customer care with accurate information and timely care. For checking out process, it took a time to take city tax. May I suggest to complete the registration process at check-in and offer the express check-out? Because the hotel have a lot of customer to attend the conferences, it will greatly help both of us upon the check-out time. Thank you very much!

Mr K., The feedback from our customers is extremely important for us, they allow us to always question ourselves, thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. First of all, I apologize personally if your stay was not up to your expectations. We did encounter a hot water problem in the hotel during your stay. These are unfortunately things that happen, and that are beyond the control of the hotel. As soon as we noticed the problem, a technician came on site to repair the cause of the failure. We regret the lack of information broadcast by the reception, which was very involved in the resolution of the problem. The reception did its best, with the cards it had in hand, to manage the situation and the complaints received. Indeed it would have been smarter to say that we didn’t know exactly when the problem will be solved, except that the technician told us it will come back in a few hours so the information was just relayed that way. The reception was overwhelmed by the events, as it was the first time it happened, and we will try to improve our staff skills in dealing with this kind of issues. Once again, we thank you for your comments and hope to regain your trust during your next stay. Looking forward to welcoming you soon, please believe, Sir, in expressing our best feelings.
