The hôtel is well located but is not at Pullman quality level and not évent at 4 stars. Rooms are very small and there event no roof for à water gratiné machine and can take a cofee. Wifi is very poor: troughput is voluntarily kept low to force you to pay à premium pass.

« Luxury with the scent of DDR »

The hotel is very well situated and has some atmosphere. The staff is a bit unfriendly however and in the room you shouldn’t expect even single bottle of water. All the building seems elegant but in the DDR fashion. Very good and diverse breakfast menu.

« Great hotel. Convenient location »

The Pullman Hotel, Dresden is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with stunning views of Dresden from the upper floors. The shower and toilet were very quirky with only an opaque glass partition separating them from the rest of the room. There is, however, a modesty curtain for those who might worry about such things. Check in and check out were both efficient and speedy despite me having messed up my original booking. All round an excellent place to stay.

Good afternoon, we are glad about the appreciation of your stay at our hotel. Beautifully that you have liked your stay and that you also convince other readers of the hotel appreciations as our product with your best “censorship” for our top position in the middle of the city. So we see that we are on a good way to satisfy our guests everywhere. The fact that you lacked a coffee and tea station in the room, we regret. But this does not belong to the equipment of our Classic rooms. Our hotel disposes of several room categories with equipments different in each case. Superior room have, for example, a refrigerator which our guests from the assortment of the Market Places can completely fill by their wishes, Deluxe rooms and junior suites dispose of a filled and free minibar. As well it behaves with a bottle of water, a bathrobe in the room, the best view about the roofs of Dresden up to church “Frauenkirche”, several pillows for the choice, free Highspeed Internet, a newspaper, additional amenities, a VIP Treatment … Please ask us with the next time aimed after the room category most interesting for you. The free Internet access in our house is laid out for a range of 512 kbit/s and at the whole hotel temporally for an unlimited period free of charge. But is in times in which a lot of hotel guests communicate at the same moment in the Internet to count occasionally also at lower speeds. But for higher claims we also place at disposal at any time a High Speed for access with up to 100 Mbit / s, these then, however, against a surcharge. Also if it comforts you afterwards a little: at present we negotiate with our offerer TheCloud essentially more positive conditions including the speed (up to 3 GB/s) for our Internet as up to now, are bound, unfortunately, this year up to the conclusion of a new contract still in current. « Average hotel, let down by some details »

For someone who normally stays at the Ibis, this extra starred-hotel within the Accor family felt a bit of a let down. On the plus side, the room was comfortable and there is a mini fridge and in-room safe. It is also very handy for the train station. However, check-in took half an hour (with just 2 guests in front of us) and we were just automatically given a twin room rather than a double. The bed was a too soft for my liking (that could be a personal preference) and the pillow was most uncomfortable, not to mention the odd feather that would poke through. The gym seemed a token gesture - had to give up waiting for the single treadmill that was in use. All in all, I thought you could get better value and more efficient service elsewhere for the money.

We regret that you had to wait for your check a longer time and that there were problems with the wished room type. Our house disposes of a limited number of rooms with double beds which are not available then occasionally enough. Then, unfortunately, it is necessary, a twin-bedded room also isolates to guests to place at disposal. Please, have for it understanding. Your bed concerning: we renew at present in our hotel gradually our mattresses and pillows, then there will be in future certainly no more reason for this criticism. We hope that you had altogether a pleasant and exciting stay in Dresden and at our hotel in spite of the criticized circumstances. My favourite hotel in Dresden both because of its practical advantage (close to the main railway station and 10 mins walk to the historic area) and comfort/quality of breakfasts. Staff were friendly and efficient.

i stayed many times at the pullman and i will return in the future as usual, easy stay, friendly staff, wide selection at breakfast, great location only minus this time: the fridge in my room was not working/cooling at all

« Nice hotel, nice room, nice city but shame on some staff »

We came with family four of us , the Front office ladies were very nice , the room very well designed .the only bad point was the next morning i cam only to front office around 06h00 to do soem work on my laptop and have coffee, as there is NO coffee facilities , NEITHER mini bar in the room. 3 member of staff , were dicussing some reports in the front office and when I came the look of the blond women with the black jacker whom seems to be in charge , meant clearly that i should not be there and should not disturb them.However as I was brave enough to ask where to get a coffee , she told me that the restaurant open at 06h30, then I aske if there is another way to have a cup of coffee , she then , looked around as searching for something and came back to me , there is not coffee facility here ...I then asked for the password for wifi , cleary but the look she gave , i must be a simpleton , and with a sight she gave it to me . my comment is the patronising , disdainful attitude to the young arrogant lady to a guest double her age whom is asking for something very resonable is not acceptable , some people should remenber that with out clients there would be no salary.. At the same time , there was a young ladu , long dark hair , who was very nice and latter on , appologised for her colleague attitude , this is a very proffesional person and should be congratulated .

The room was great. The breakfast was great but in the evening, around 20:00, the service was awful - it looked as if no one knew what they were doing and did not want to serve customers. The food we were served (not the menu for the day) was mediocre - a change from the excellent food and service a couple of years ago. I could only get a wifi connection in the lobby. I could not get a wifi connection in our room. see above Hotel - great. Restaurant at breakfast - great. Restaurant in the evening - poor.

Very nice room, good view to the city. But counter staff are not so helpful as compare to the one at Ibis. Did not inform me how to use wifi in the hotel until I asked. The key to the room is deactivated before 12 pm of check out time.

« Great location »

Was at the NEWA hotel for 1 night, after a meeting had lot of fun to go around and see the old town and its fascinating facilities! The walk from the hotel is short and pleasant with lot of bars and restaurants around! The hotel itself was nice, the staff friendly and helpful! Just the 21 EURO for the car parking was a bit too much in my opinion... Would come back again as overall it was good!

They also result from the fact that all parking spaces are rented in our underground car park and we have to convert the rental costs calculated for this to the price of the parking spaces of our guests. But ask us for your next visit for alternatives, because in the surrounding area there are several, because of the location but not quite as comfortable, but more cost-effective car parks, which we gladly recommend to our guests. « Very nice hotel in good location. »

I stayed here for one night. I really liked the rooms, small but well designed and classy with a great view. Breakfast and dinner was fine. There is a big choice of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. Excellent location to visit the mighty town of Dresden or to go shopping. All in all, great value for money. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very well located, close to train station, shops and old town. Very helpful staff, everyone wants to help. Sussen, the rececptionist represented the hotel professionally. The room may not be very big but it is really comfortable,clean,light and surprising.

« Good Hotel but need attention in the restaurant waitressing service. »

Good Hotel and nice to get an upgrade, but for breakfast service is OK and seem to be all staff in training and only 1 seniorrrrr (not really international experience, just being years working in the hotel does not mean you have a good experience if you do not service to customers properly eg you should welcome to guess coming to enter the restaurant not just looking till the guess say good morning........) it is very important that you welcoming guess to eat breakfast in the hotel. Security is not good either because when I came out from the restaurant, you have a begger to ask me money in the 4stars hotel (inside).. I think this hotel is going down the hill compare to 4-5 years ago, ythey are loosing guess and they do not try to get them back. I know in Dresden many tourists have lost interest to come to this town but the hotel have to try harder to get the guess back to the hotel, and we habe staying once or twice a year since 4-5 years ago, but this could be the last time.

« Everything seem not bad except wifi »

Wifi should be improve because terrible.. breakfast is good and acceptable. Hotel is little bit far away from city center but next to train station. I stayed superior room but it was cold. Heater does not work and noby assist us durint our stay even if told the front office.

I have booked room + premium online package (for 3 devices). I go t2 issues, I had to discuss with the receptionist to get premium WLAN (to use VPN) and at the end it has worked only for 1 device. Then on invoice I got breakfast instead of Premium online package, which I booked. By receptionist not possible to change. Crazy. Wellness is nice, but closing at 22:00, which means sauna turns off at 21:30. Besides that hotel is quite nice in good location, but this non-flexibility drives me crazy.

These are the ones that show us inadequacies in the hotel and help us to constantly question and improve our work, training and control activities. In the business offer you booked, the VPN-capable HighSpeed WLAN is included for one device. Unfortunately your booking was not transferred correctly to the system, so this was not taken into account on arrival and caused irritation to you and to our staff. For accounting purposes, the cause is an incorrectly transmitted rate code. We apologize for the inconvenience. By your reference we could solve the problem but in the meantime - and we will be prepared again in the future. You write correctly that our sauna is open until 10pm. But the mistake of an employee was the reason that on this day the sauna was automatically switched off rather soon. This will not happen to us again. We hope that despite the criticism you have had a pleasant and exciting stay in Dresden and in our hotel. Please come back to us once you are in Dresden again. We look forward to you. positive: The hotel is very close to the main train station. negative: very small rooms. Wifi is not free, if you want to work with it you need to pay (no VPN and REALLY slow). aircon does not work even if we asked for it. it only heats, no cooling. You cannot open the window as it is really loud. For some reason they do not use key cards but a big plate linked to a small key - not fun to cary around. Would not recommend. P.S. If you are an Accor leclub member forget it, pullmann does not care about your status. no upgrade even though there were free rooms and lounge access is also dependent on the hotel.

And we are glad that you have the top location of our hotel in the middle of the city and close to the main station has announced. The performance of our air conditioning system is adjusted to the environment: depending on the outside temperatures, it cools less intensively during the winter months than in the summer months. We ask for your understanding. Our modern locking system differs from ordinary key cards. This has been set up during the last modernization and has proven itself since then. A return to the "usual" key cards is currently neither economically viable nor meaningful. We would also look forward to some bigger rooms for our guests, but unfortunately the building of our hotel does not allow this. However, the room size in our hotel is the German 4 star standard. As an alternative, we recommend you book one of our junior suites on the 14th floor next time, which is not only twice as big as the other rooms, but also offers you numerous additional amenities, as well as an unrivaled view Over the roofs of Dresden to the old town. The free internet access in our house is designed for a bandwidth of 512 kbit / s. However, in times when many hotel guests communicate simultaneously in the Internet, sometimes at lower speeds. Unfortunatly only stayed on night at hotel Our Om was on the14th floor with floor to ceiling Windows giving a superb view of Dresden an surrounds. The young lady on the reception desk was a trainee and could not have been more helpful and everything was done with a smile

A great, stylish hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Great staff and lovely breakfasts. Great location, 200 yards from he railway station and very handy for the old town. What a beautiful city. Hotel and cit highly recommended.
