All of the staff we very friendly and accommodating, the renovation was nicely done and the recreation facilities excellent. The reception staff and bar staff made us feel very welcome and the activities staff were very patient with our lack of sailing experience!

Car parking was terrible and had no assistance to get to rooms with luggage as check in had a huge line up and only 2 on admin. It was also raining on our arrival and no offer of umbrellas or help provided. We stayed due to an external wedding and had to drive, there were no car parks near our lagoon suite on our return due to weddings that were held at Twin waters the car parks were all full with the wedding guests and very poor lighting through the path ways. I would never recommend or stay here again if I had to drive a vehicle. I mentioned this to admin on checkout and they said they could not allocate parking for hotel guests.

« Fun resort but limited food options »

We stayed with our children and had a really fun time for 2 days. If we stayed any longer I would be ordering some groceries. Food choice was between a convenience type store that couldn’t tell me if the croissant or bread had egg in it (allergy) and told us it’s best to eat at the bar restaurant. Where we paid $15 for a bowl of fries! Even the restaurant staff weren’t overly helpful with allergy assistance. Aside from that the staff were friendly and the pool and lagoon activities were much fun.

I have stayed here over many years and it used to be a wonderful spot for a visit, especially with families however now it really is in need of a refresh. My over water suite, whilst it had plenty of room had curtains falling down, carpets not clean and back deck area really dirty. I understand the lobby area is undergoing an upgrade but check in and check out were time consuming and difficult. The restaurant was not bad with breakfast very good. I really hope this can be restored to its former glory.

We were visiting as members of VIEW, for the Convention. We were happy with the rooms, but had great difficulty locating them. We wandered around, asking directions of other guests with no luck and were rescued by a lovely Islander man, who collected our luggage and took us directly to our room. We were getting a little distressed after queuing for over an hour to check in, so he was the hero of the moment. The buffet meals, except for the VIEW Gala evening, were cold, the burners not adequate. Probably a health issue. The trays of food were delivered tepid to the burners and the burners not adequate for re-heating to a palatable level. Even the breakfast buffett was cold. It was really disappointing, as the buffett was expensive. Staff were lovely, location delightful.

The bedding was terrible. I had 2 sheets on my single bed with a king size doona folded in half!!! My friend had a king size blanket folded in half between her sheets. We only had 1 bed light. There were no lights at all in the lounge area.

We were very pleased with our accommodation. Once we found our way around it was even more enjoyable. Our main focus was the VIEW Clubs of Australia 2019 Convention supported by The Smith Family. The facilities for the Convention were very good. The dinner at Lily's Restaurant was particularly enjoyable.

We stayed in Room 116 and it was dirty and asked for it to cleaned in the morning, not satisfactory in our opinion. The Resort is very outdated except the new beautiful function centre building. also not very friendly towards people who have trouble walking long distances beside having the carts available when not too busy. On the positive side all your staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We found the room excellent, service, restaurant and grounds were great. Our concern was the hour wait to check in and the fact that tradies were allowed to wake us up on our last day of our stay at 6:30 as they set up for work in the adjoining unit. We should have been warned and as you had paying guests they should not have been booked to start until we left.
