Experience was great. Negatives Bed to soft! The cleaner did the worst job ever making the bed. Each day the sheets were bunched at the bottom of the bed. Also no body lotion was replace for the duration of our week stay. These were the only negatives. Teach the cleaner to make a bed & replace soaps & lotions & that alone will greatly improve the review.

I attended a 2 day conference which was organised at Novotel Northbeach so booked 2 nights stay to be at the venue of the conference. The room was nice and clean and had all amenities needed. The bed was nice and comfortable but I wished there were more variety with the pillows as they were all too soft for me. The conference venue was good but one room had a bad smell and we had to move. The coffee cart at the conference was a nice touch which I really enjoyed. Breakfast at the WIndjammers was so-so, a lot of the food were cold and not very inviting. The lunch there was a bit better with seafood selection but hot foods were still pretty basic and not too inviting. Overall the stay was good but was very inconvenienced with the lift to the carpark not working and having to carry bags up and down for check in and check out.

Really happy with the facilities and cleanliness of the room. The bed was SO comfortable. Breakfast and lunch buffet was great, but the dessert I had sent to my room was burnt unfortunately. No free wifi unless you sign up to be an Accor member, but membership is free anyway so that was fine. Worked well for streaming Netflix. Only downside was that the rooms are not very soundproof, so I could hear every word of the person next door's phone conversation! Other than that great experience and cleaning staff were especially lovely.

Each staff member encountered had a refreshing "can do" attitude, including Michael on the desk who organised our gold membership room upgrade and the young lady who was willing to roll a trolley down the ramp to bring our bags up when we arrived. We can in very late one night and I wanted some snacks. The young man on the desk (11.30 Thursday night 3/10) problem solved really well and I went away happy. It is amazing what a difference the staff attitudes can make to a stay.

The staff were lovely and the amenities were sufficient. The view from my room was incredible and it seemed one of my colleagues even got an upgrade to a larger room. However, a there were a couple of small things (and one BIG thing). I will start with the small things; * the pillows were horrible. Too soft and not orthopedically sound. * There were no slippers provided in my room although they were provided in colleagues rooms. * Upom check in I was asked for the names of who would be staying in each of the rooms depsite the list already being given to reservations. The big faux pas of the stay was when one of my colleagues, who is very allergic to dairy and nuts, unassumingly used almond or full cream milk in her breakfast cereal. Given the way the buffet station was arranged, jugs of milk can be moved around without the proper descriptionfollowing. My colleague was rushed to her rom for medication, an epi pen was on hand and fatigue followed. It was an awful end to a somewhat happy to stay. I now hoe there are procedures put in place before someone dies Despite that, the staff were very knd and caring throughout and hav epromised to ammend protocol

Rm703. It was our Anniversary. Bed very uncomfortable. Didn't read what a standard rm contain. But for 300 a night compare to CBD hotels. This was really bad. First impression car park lift out of order. Stair well had a very bad smell and level number was jyst spray painted on. Lifts old. TV not centre to bed. Just would never go back.
