Hotel was not easy to find when coming from the airport using public transport. Reception service was good. Room OK if a little dated. Bathroom needed some attention. Location uninspiring. Breakfast good. Servicing of room good.

Regular Novotel, Nice that they have a piano. When we arrived we got a welcome drink, but only for 1 px? So the rest (3 px) we had to pay?? (We never experienced this before) So this Novotel only uses the accor loyalty program to raise their revenue.

We had a recommendation to stay in any Novotel from some friends. However, it stood as a bad experience. The room and especially the bathroom was dirty. The sofa had the metal mechanism exposed with pretty much no foam above it so we had to ask for a blanket to put it above the “mattress”. The breakfast had some bright spots, nevertheless the eggs tasted really bad and had a greenish color, and again, the cleanliness was below standards. We had the opportunity to stay again with you in other cities of our trip, but we preferred not to because of our bad experience. Hope this helps

Traveling with kids we are bit more concerned about clening of the room. The carpet was dirti with big stain wgich woukd see even blind person. Glasses broken and dirty when tooken to reception the guy said he would not drink from ut as well. We been in this hotel 10 years ago and still desaster. After all my staing in accorhotels this is by far the worst. Not to mention that we have booked rooms with specificaly informing that we come as two adults and 4 kids and the sofa bad was not preppared. This hotel needs some serius management control.

Nice hotel, good location close to the old center and the waterfront. On site parking and a good restaurant on site. Good breakfast, rooms are clean and staff are very nice to deal with. Would stay there again.

« A bit disappointed »

Unfortunately, I was disappointed at this hotel. The staff was as friendly and great as it is a standard at AccorHotels, so there was a full satisfaction. The hotel is not new, but clean and OK but the pain spot are the elevators. I know that it is not easy (if possible without major reconstruction) to improve it, but we were just taking the stairs, as you would have to wait for more then five minutes to get in. Maybe opening the “staff only” lift would help and most probably you could always add there a feature, enabling a priority-for-staff mode. But this was still not so serious. What has really seriously disappointed me was the breakfast. It was absolutely not up to Novotel (or Mercure) standards. I don’t mean that we had to queue one or two days, this just can happen but the choice of meals was really poor.

The lady at reception on check in was just lovely and efficient and helpful, a credit to this hotel, the room was comfortable enough however the hotel maybe doesn’t cater well to tourist season much at all, breakfast was chaos, lines out the door until about 1/2 hour before they closed breakfast and they were swift at cleaning up service at 10am. Pool was busy and there was race for sun beds. Some staff at reception weren’t all that helpful. Perhaps this hotel can’t cope with summer crowd. I wouldn’t stay there again.

I called to book a room, Marco did answer he was very polite & i had this feeling of trust friendly and also a very proffessionel, he is a good commercial, the house keepers at the 7th floor are so lovely the barmen also, is a very good team, the room was quiet, the Hotel is close to everything, i had a private parking, i do recommend this Hotel if you go to Genova or close, i did many Hotels in the world but this one is one of the best, is perfect for a family or business, thank you very much Marco for your kindless you made my holliday great and even my kids did like you, Novotel Genova City is my adresse in Italy.
