1. Poolside lounge area has a mosquito problem, there were many mosquitoes there during all my nights there. 2. Room toilet had smoke smell coming out from air vent in shower area, due to other people smoking in their room/ toilet. 3. Room lighting can be brighter. 4. I had 2 different towels that had a smell, like it didn't dry properly.

« I feel so much home at Ibis Slipi. The hospitality of the entire staffs is remarkable! »

Everytime i go to Jakarta or if my family come for a visit in Jakarta, i always choose Ibis Slipi. There were times when I stayed there for 10 days and I didn’t feel bored at all. I used all the facilities, gym, playing pool in the bar at nite, lunch in the cafe, even the ironing station in Level 7! For the price, what Ibis Slipi offer is beyond my expectation. On my last visit, i went with my baby and everything went smoothly and the staffs were so friendly and helpful. The genuine hospitality I even didnt find at 5* hotel. So good job Ibis Slipi. I definitely will come back and stay there!

I've stayed at this hotel many times, and there's one that just never changed. It is soooooo difficult to have someone at reception desk to pick up my call. It happens every time, literally every time I stay here. And this is also at any given hour. Morning, afternoon, evening, it's just the same. Yesterday was even worse, at my 4th attempt calling reception, someone did pick up the phone but he put it down right away before I could even say a word. I dialed again immediately, but again...no one answered. It is so frustrating if you need to ask something you have to go downstairs at reception desk just because no one there would answer your call. Please fix this issue right away. This is so contrary compared to any other Accor hotels' service. Another thing I would like to say, yesterday (Aug 4) as I was about to check out at 4.30 ish PM, I was so disturbed by one of the room service guys who cleaned up the room on 6th floor. He's a bit chubby with 1 cm short cut hair. It looked like he's cleaning 2 rooms at the same time, one opposite another, because he kept going back and forth between those 2 rooms. Because he didn't want to keep opening and closing the doors, he actually left the door latch loose so the door couldn't lock and close. And every time he left a room to go the other, he just let the door swung and slammed the latch, creating a loud noise again and again. I watched him doing that for nearly 4 minutes until he finally saw me and then stopped doing it again.

It was my first ever experience to Jakarta and was pleased to be greeted by friendly receptionists who explained well on moving about in the city. Given that it's my experience, the insights has helped me tremendously. A couple of leaflets and a book Miss Jing Jing provide a good guide. Friendly staff and great food served at the restaurant too. Fell in love with TongSeng Kambing, highly recommended.

I’m satisfied with most of the things, it was nice enough for one person to stay for a trip/business. However I want this hotel to get ready with more tidy towels and bed spreads, ‘cause it looked old and a little smelly. (not the worst though) And bathroom, table tops, hope those will get more tidy too. And the location was a little hard to reach, unless you use Gocar or taxi. I hope there were enough space in between the lobby and the road.
