All good with the exception of the irons in the room. The first iron didn't work. The replacement iron was so full of rusty scale it ruined a business shirt - lucky I had a spare - very frustrating..... After running the steam function and self clean for about 20 minutes it was ok. You really need to do periodic maintenance and checking on irons.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff generally extremely helpful and friendly. Room well serviced. Not over impressed with breakfast - had our utensils and juice whipped away two days in a row. First day I left my serviette on my chair. That didn’t work. Second day my juice was there and I folded my napkin to the right of my plate. That didn’t work. Felt that the empty hot dishes, pastries and hot water weren’t replenished quickly enough. I think close to 7 mins too long to have to wait to replenish poached eggs.

« A good stay »

Happy with room, but, had no draws to put cloths in, toilet very low and hard to get off even for a 5:9’ person, requested a shower room not a bath with a shower in it and had a minor problems with the TV and a leaking sink. Refurb needs more thought.

We loved the staff, all very friendly and welcoming, especially Emilie at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The room, although dated, was clean and the bed was comfortable. Checkin/out was smooth and efficient and the bar staff were friendly and fun

Customer service at the bar was horrible which the guy seemed bored . When I ordered drinks I selected the cocktail of the month and the reply back was that’s a display and laughed . I replied I will order one of those and an old fashion - only the old fashion arrived and he left . I was shocked and then ordered another drink but when I said cocktails the other staff member seemed like she didn’t want to make it with my reply do you know how to make it ? Took a while as she was busy then we left and headed into the city for drinks

It was a lovely hotel with friendly, patient and welcoming staff. We had an amazing buffet breakfast where we could order coffee and eggs anyway we liked (all complimentary as it was inclusive of our booking). For the short time we were there we enjoyed the hotel very much, wish we were there longer!

« Comfortable, Stylish and Sustainable »

Novotel Brisbane CBD is comfortable and the hotel is stylishly decorated. The highlight for me is the little things the hotel has done to make my stays more environmentally sustainable. For example, instead of printing out papers and booklets for hotel information, all these information have been digitised and available on the TV screen. The housekeeping has also allowed me to reuse my towel which is also a positive step towards a greener approach in the hospitality industry.

From check in to check out everything was very good. We got a room upgrade, complementary drinks vouchers and cheap breakfasts. Also, we happened to 'lob in' the day there was a Loyalty Member free 'happy hour' so everything after this was anticlimatic. Excellent service, great room and meals, excellent location. Thank you.

I twas my first stay at the Novotel Brisbane and I had fairly good experience there. The room was bright and comfortable. The hotel boasted well equipped gym and nice outdoor pool. Breakfast was a bit overpriced and the food selection quite poor.

Everything was fine as usual. However, the girl who checked me in was all of about 20 years old and kept calling me 'love'. I dislike this intensely and find it inappropriate in a business setting.
