The stay was pleasant enough but for the money paid I don’t believe it was value for money. The hotel is very tired and in need of full Reno. The check in staff are fantastic

Check in left a lot to be desired. The man at the front desk either doesn’t enjoy his line of work at all or I had somehow managed to piss him off as that was the general attitude I perceived from him. Both times that I have stayed in the past few weeks, the showers were lacking water pressure, (or should I say just lacking water!) partly due to the shower head being a water saver and partly because they were clogged up. It might not have been an issue on other occasions but I needed to wash my hair both times after 10 days camping with the ADF and found this almost impossible with the little water they sprayed out. I also found it extremely difficult to wash my hair with a glass shelf in my face! 🤷🏼‍♀️ There was one staff member responsible for increasing my rating from a 3 to a 7 on my last night there. Her name was Alima. (?Spelling?) She brought my room service to my room (which was also really delicious!) and was very apologetic for the delay, she had a genuine, friendly smile and was so polished in the art of excellent customer service that she single-handedly improved my stay. I hope she is recognised for her awesome attitude and excellent work.

I arrived for a late check in (23:00hrs) and your staff/night duty manager was pleasant and helpful. Upon entering my allocated room, it smelt musty. There were stains on the carpet that appeared to be burnt material near the mini fridge. The bathroom door handle was loose, and the bathroom floor still had hairs on it. Due to the late arrival I went to bed. The Aircon motor was rattling and made it difficult to sleep (I think I got maybe an hour). I was Up at 0600hrs and wanted to make a coffee in the morning however the jug allocated to the room was stained and looked un hygienic. I then and attended the restaurant. The service was good, the staff very welcoming and the food was nice. The presentation standards of the restaurant were good. When I then returned to my allocated room I looked closer at the room standard and there was significant dust build up on the picture frames and alike. Upon my check out I was not asked how my stay was. I did still make mention to the team member at the counter that the staff were lovely and the food was good however the room standard was poor and untidy. The lady said that she was sorry to which I replied I understand that these thing can happen however it was disappointing.
