My wife and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Rooms were very clean, bed very comfortable and staff courteous and friendly. Internet however was neither free for guests nor fast enough.

Service staff were very helpful and courteous. Room service was excellent, apart from the sticky date pudding. Some of the lights in the room had a malfunctioning switch.

The restaurant had a nice menu and capable staff although one meal, out of 5, I had at restaurant they missed my entrée. The room was very nice with kitchenette that allowed me breakfast in the room. The gym was being renovated but I was advised this completed after the 1st day of my 8 day stay. This was incorrect as work was still being completed yet they allowed the room to be open with work items still in the room. I was lucky in being able to access the Pan Pacific gym across the road. A gym is essential to business travel!

« A little disappointing »

I have now stayed at the NOVOTEL Langley on 6 -7 occasions. The last trip was somewhat disappointing. The shower curtain had pink mould on the bottom of shower curtain, sink had black matter around the plug hole and the tile grouting in the shower needed some bleach to clean them up. After a 12 hour trip airport to airport via Melbourne from Cairns, I was woken at 7.00am Sunday morning( I arrived at midnight EST) there was shouting and loud conversations right outside my door that lasted for about 10 minutes. Needless to say, I didnt manage to get back to sleep. I haven’t had these issues on previous occasions and hope these issues can be addressed simply to rectify the matters I have identified. The staff, particularly those doing the evening shift on Saturday evenings ( the time I usually arrive) , have been brilliant and very welcoming. I’ve had trouble with my Accor card and the very pleasant young woman finally sorted those issues last Saturday night with a great deal of charm and good humour.

« Excellent location, but expensive for similar hotels in the area. »

Staff excellent, food very good, positive attitude from all you staff. But on 2 occasions in my 6 day stay, the water was not hot, just warm, not pleasant for a bath/shower. Explanation from staff was that if all people use warm water in the morning some guests will not get hot water. The hotel also seem old, the furniture and fittings in the bedrooms show this. All in all the hotel is very good, but the price is very high for the condition of the hotel. There are 3 star ghotels at half your price that are much better value for money.
