Hi, good hotel with good amendeties. Staff is friendly.. Watch out to get a room in the upper floors... the level -1 is not (yet) renovated......

Our stay was great, but we had specifically booked this hotel as we were travelling with my wife's parents, and her father is a PMR. We called after making the booking, to confirm that we had a disabled access room. On arrival, we were told there was no record of this call and that we didn't have a disabled room! Fortunately the staff were able to correct the error.

We were travelling on holiday with our dog. We choose Accor hotels because they are good value and dog friendly. It was a shock to find that our dog was not allowed to accompany us in the restaurant, for dinner or breakfast! This is the first time this has ever happened to us in France. We booked and paid for breakfast ahead of arrival, and nothing was said even though we put the dog on the booking. Nothing was said on check in, even though it was clear we were with a dog. It was embarrassing and inconvenient to be turned away when we turned up for our dinner, which we had reserved a table for. We did not have breakfast even though we had paid for it, as we were still angry about being refused entry for dinner. This hotel is in an ideal location for us, giving a break in the journey between the Dordogne and the northern ports. But obviously we will not be using it again. Our dog is a valued family member and, as I said above, we have never experienced this elsewhere in France. VERY disappointed!

Not far from town with free parking and great facilities. I certainly enjoyed the indoor pool and steam room at the hotel. The atrium glass roofed bar/sitting area was very comfortable and we enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful which is great when we don’t speak French very well.

Well presented hotel in quiet wooded location as well as being handy for main road. Excellent walks in woodland and around lake directly accessible from hotel. 5 minutes from park and ride into town centre. Comfortable room with food well up to the expected standard.

I felt not welcome. Reception not really friendly. No upgrade offered, although rooms were available and I have Platinum status. As I have asked for a bathrobe, the lady at the reception asked me to pay 10€. In the restaurant I have got only a small beer as welcome drink. Just a few examples which describes how a hotel can loose credit points by their customers not offering small minor things. By the way, no welcome present on the room neither.

I stay at Accor hotels regularly and am almost always very happy with the service provided , but this was not the case at Tours. The hotel itself was adequate but our experience was marred by the attitude of the hotel manager who took against our dogs - who barked when they were left for a short time in our room during the afternoon - while we used the swimming pool. The dogs were paid for and we have never experienced hostility before at any Accor hotel , but the manager's attitude was intolerant and inhospitable . Why were we placed in a room across from his office if that is his attitude? He did not engage with us at all , unlike other staff who at Accor hotels are invariably courteous and charming. His behaviour spoiled our stay and we shall not be returning there.A pity , because the hotel is set near a beautiful park.

My wife and I are regular users of ACCOR hotels . WE have been to Mecure Tours Sud before. The accommodation was good - the room well appointed, clean, and pleasant. However there was a general slackness in service. When I asked at the bar for gin there was no tonic, and apparently know understanding that tonic was part of the drink. The food at dinner tasty ad well presented except that it simply wasn't hot enough. At breakfast ad we were down at eight, the was no scrambled egg or bacon left and no apparent awareness that they needed to manage the supply. WE had to ask and then nothing happened for ten minutes when a small quantity of egg arrived which was immediately exhausted.

The hotel amenities are nice and you can relax in the pool, do some hammam or Sauna during your stay. A lake is located at 5 minutes on walk, and is a nice place to play with kids or just enjoy a walk. Family bed room is ok with enough place for 2 adults and 2 infants.

This was our second stay at Tours Sud The spa facilities are good, the room comfortable ( but mugs rather than paper cups would be an improvement). The staff are Cousy, welcoming and helpful and the dinner was superb - compliments to M. Le Chef.

Due to a mistake with the reservation of our prebooked hotel we had to arrange 2 rooms for 2 nights and we chose for this Mercure. There was plenty of parking space available and the staff was overall friendly. I regret that no upgrade was given although I was able to book and pay for an upgrade to privilege. It would have been fare to upgrade the room based on our Gold status. Also only one voucher for a welcome drink was offered while we had booked 2 rooms. In all other hotels that I have visited I was always offered the amount of vouchers based on the amount of rooms booked.
