« Far away from everything, a bit dilapidated and very sober, but excellent restaurant »

the hotel is not much. Far away from centre and not even that close to the airport. Rooms and furniture make a very old and neglected impression, awful looking and broken plastic curtain in bathroom, etc. No luxury to expect, all basic. But all of that is compensated by the restaurant in the hotel. Had truly excellent food there for little costs!

I stayed in this hotel just prior to a plane flight from Florence to Rome. When I walked in the room was incredibly clean, but the carpet outside the bathroom was soaking wet. When I took a shower I found that the bathroom floor was tilted toward the carpet hallway. Wet carpet clearly explained. The bed itself was quite hard. The pillows were harder than the bed. All in all it was only €49 so I really can’t complain too much. But the taxi trip to the airport was €30and that hurt a little bit

While this hotel is convenient to the airport (about 5 minutes away), it is somewhat rundown and aged. The elevator didn't work which required us to use the service elevator and we had to search for someone to serve us in the restaurant. Ultimately we left the hotel to find a restaurant. There is not much in the area, but we did find a couple good options. The room itself was clean and comfortable. We would stay again, but be aware of what this hotel is. A transit hotel to be used as a stopover to the airport.

Alice on the check-in desk was very helpful and thankfully she could speak some English as I cannot speak any Italian. Room was large, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was one of the better we experienced on our recent Central Europe trip. Chose to stay out of the city as we were driving and Alice helped with providing a car parking space right near the front door. She also provided information on how to catch a bus in and out of the city, with the bus stop was just a short distance away. We arrived on a Friday evening and main hotel lifts weren't working properly but we were able to use service lift instead which was OK. Would recommend staying here, particularly if you are flying in or out as it is also close to the airport.

Good service and hotel rooms are up to standard. Location is convenient near the airport. Breakfast complete offering and extra coffee / espresso service. Cleaning good and service / support from the staff is good and friendly.

« Please fix the elevators! »

The room was clean. The soup was hot. Neither of the two elevators worked, so we ended up using the service elevator or walking down the stairs (not an option with our suitcases). Also, there is no airport shuttle, so we had to pay 24 Euros for a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. The front desk clerk called the shuttle driver and then told us "he doesn't work tomorrow". Had we known no shuttle would be available, we would have stayed elsewhere.

« Disappointing »

We selected this hotel close to the airport only to find out that there is no transportation to the airport. On arrival both guest elevators were out of order. Only a service elevator in a back room was operational. This hotel needs renovation, room carpet was very soiled, bathroom worn and overall impression not favorable.

« Shower produced a massive flooding »

The shower in our room produced a massive flooding in the bathroom AND the sleeping area. Did not drain at all. Both elevators mostly out-of-order- thanks God, the staff elevator worked as alternative. However, reception staff very helpful and breakfast was quite alright. Pity that these ugly things happen!

« Never Again!!!! »

Upon our arrival one elevator was out of order and was this was supposedly for more a week or more. Upon check in the other elevator was working but you could tell from the sounds of it that it was in need of retails. On the morning of our checkout, that elevator was also not working. That meant I had to carry two large suitcases and a carry on on bag down 6 flights of steps. I'm 70 years old and not my idea of what I paid for this hotel Will never stay at a Novotel again and would never recommend to anyone else to stay at at one based upon this situation.

This hotel is near the airport in a commercial area. It is used by bus groups as well as individual travellers. Breakfast can be frenetic when the bus groups are eating. There is not much choice around for dinner so the N restaurant is the default. However be warned that the grilled food is charred and dried out. Pasta is a better choice. The rooms are comfortable but need more pillows and English language tv channels. staff are generally friendly. I initially chose this hotel because it had free parking and a shuttle bus to the city, however the bus is no longer available.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The room was a good experience, apart from the towels which felt old and yellow. In the first day only one out of 2 elevators was working. In the second day none of the elevator was working and we were advised to use the service elevator which was dirty and very busy. The alternative being using the emergency stairs, which was impossible as they were in exterior and we were at 7th floor. The breakfast service was good in the first day, however in the second day all the tables were full with dishes and no one was cleaning them. When complaining, one of the employees (Fabio) raised the tone so I went to complain to the reception. Whilst at the reception, Fabio also screamed at my wife and I find this as unacceptable behavior. I hope this issue will be raised internally.

The front desk managed to get me an early check in. The room was ‘just okay.’ The furnishings looked very cheap and worn. The shower had black mold at the bottom corner between the wall and floor. Yuck. The location was ideal for my early flight in the morning which is why I picked it. One elevator was not operating my entire 24 hour stay, causing a big line of guests with suitcases to wait a long time. I had to take the stairs along with another guest. I was on the 3rd floor but he was on the 7th floor. The hotel needs some TLC (tender loving care) and updates.

Lovely stay, however, one of the elevators did not work which was a bit a bit of a problem with such a large hotel ony using one elevator. We used the service elevator! We heard that this happens often. Also, it would be nice if the hotel provided airport shuttle service. Dinner was surprisingly good in the hotel restaurant.
