Our second visit. Everything really good except the Main Restaurant. Every time we are there-:we only steht cooked food - we had sieht stomach problens. When we are in the Asia or Italian Restaurants on site , or outside in the town - we had no problems. The tables and chairs need replacing. The chairs are too low for the tables, and the plastic rattan has warped making the seats even lower. The cushionsc are marked and thin. Our room 1912 was great - thank you. Our room boy Khaled amazing. Methadone the boss in the Asia restaurant - a great.asset to.you. We loved the abieance and service We will be returning.

I would like to thank Mr. Essam Ahmed- Front office manager and all his team members especially Mr. Hazem Elnassag for their professionalism and friendly attitude. Really they all made my vacation, it was a wonderful and non forgettable one. They showed a notable dedication to satisfy all personal needs for each guest, I will never forget when Mr. Essam helped me to repair my car and also when Mr. Hazem helped me to preserve my daughter's food in the hotel's refrigerator. I had stayed in many Accor hotels inside and outside Egypt. However, the team of Mercure Hurghada shows unique example in delighting their customers and exceeding their expectations. Finally thank you all for the valuable hospitality, professionalism, cleanness in all over the hotel and services that all makes me more loyal to Accor.

« Very enjoyable »

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel, the grounds were very nice and the staff were friendly. Our only complaint was the activity sales people on the beach were always walking around and trying to get us to sign up for activities. I understand it’s their job and their culture, but when I’m in a private beach resort I would prefer more peace and uninterrupted relaxation.

From arrival to departure the staff could not have been more accommodating.Hazem and Ahmed at reception desk both happy to help and always offer warm assistance with true smile. Chef Shehata and osama both was great and have a good spirit to play with my kid and make us happy daily at dinner thank you chefs they added nice touches to my son. All staff were courteous, friendly and attentive. Amazing entertainment show daily we were so happy. It was very nice experience to us, thanks to Mr. Essam rooms manager he was especially kind, attentive and warm without being intrusive.

My first contact was with Mr Hazem on the phone. Great man, very professional and polite. When we arrived, there was a problem with our reservation and the girls at the reception were not very helpful. A new receptionist, Ahmed, called Mr Hazem who came from his rest and amazzingly solved the problem. During our stay, he was a great help and always smiling. Can't remember their names but I think Atef and the cook at the pool bar were just amazing and very welcoming.

The facilities at the hotel were great, and the staff were very friendly. The food was also good. The only area I think you should look to improve is the WiFi as there isn’t enough bandwidth for it to be useable and it’s only available in the hotel reception area.

1. The wifi not being available widely within the premisses of the hotel is not acceptable. The reception is the only place with wifi, which gathers people there to try and be online making everyone's connection snail pace at best! 2. Staff throws wheelbarrows of rubbish just outside the beach that is no longer part of the hotel permisses. The water is full of plastic floating 3. Not enough counter space on the restaurant which creates massive queues, specially in the egg station in the morning. On dinner, until we go outside and spot that there is another food station, there is no information that there are other options not on display inside the restaurante. 4. Guests will take food to the room and leave the plates outside, which will only be picked up next day. There is no one available from room service time until next day to see this and collect it? 5. Last night reception called us at 11pm asking what time i had to leave the next day.. i was already asleep! Why 11pm at night?

It was a pleasant stay the only thing that i would say is that the food was not as i expected, disappointing at times & i feel that it could be better, having spoken to some guests who stayed at the Mercure 4 years ago they said that the food then was superb.

A very nice complex of separate villas, each housing about 10 rooms on 3 levels. Three pools of different sizes plus its very own private beach with two small gulfs, one shallow and one deep. Right across the lovely Hurghada aquarium. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good food selection and enough space.

« Good for basic break away, terrible beauty salon »

The family rooms are amazing, great space and have all you need. Struggled to get an iron and ironing board (this took 2 days and we were then told we couldn’t keep it for more than 24hrs). The food was ok some days were great with bbq in the evening some days were bland and could get boring. The pools and entertainment in the evening were great! The animation team were friendly and fun. Booked a manicure facial and hair cut at the beauty salon which I regretted!.. hair was cut with kitchen scissors and was uneven, manicure was messy and she spoke to me throughout the facial trying to sell me the scrub, so it wasn’t relaxing at all. I think she was unqualified. So overall it’s a good basic break away for about 10 days but not the best

We always prefer Mercure Hotels on our trips.The Mercure in Hurgada didn't dissapoint us.It is organized very well.We thank all the staff.The food was good enough.Room was clean and comfort.The houskeeper of our room no;2214 was perfect.The animation team was very good.We enjoyed their shows a lot.Thanks to;Masha,Lisa,Georgina,Marian,İbrahim,Romeo and all other staff.Thanks to front desk staff Ahmed.We enjoyed our stay and are planning to visit next year again.
