« Great location and quality of sleep »

I came in for a conference and check in was reasonably fast and the room quiet and super clean. I loved my bed and in fact that was the topic of discussion at breakfast for me and my work mates. The room had a view of the lake and sadly I didn't get to spend much time in it.

« Disappointed and experience was horrible »

Was very disappointing and bad. The room was not stock well with shampoo body wash. I have to call daily to have it and also when i request for room slipper i was told by the stuff the hotel is on a budget no slippers and then later they brought one. The room lamp didnt have a light bulbs and chairs for the table was horrible and not up to standard. I asked the staff if the spa pool is normal water or Geo thermal water they told me normal but when I went there is both. not a great experience overall.

I stayed in Rotorua many times before and decided some years ago to choose the Novotel instead of Ibis (as they always had problems with W-Lan). I feel much more welcome in Novotel, as a Platinum member I got usually upgraded and this time got a very nice welcome-present on top. THX for that!Unhappy with my room the first night, but got immediatly a swap to another one - no problem at all.Recommend the dinner-buffet at the Restaurant and the exreme kind reception and service over there.Will be back for sure!

We stayed at the Novotel Rotorua for our honeymoon in November 2018 and opened our hotel room to two separate beds, we made a call to the reception and explained we were on our honeymoon and wasn't aware our travel agent had booked two separate beds and whether we could pay to upgrade? They were so accommodating that they changed our room to a king bed with the lake view at no extra charge. Thank you so much we are so appreciative

« A VIP Family Stay, Friendly Staff, Top Service. »

I wanted to organise a special treat for my grandchildren and this definitely proved to be the right choice. From the minute we walked through the door they felt like VIP's. The pool complex caused many smiles for hours and then the room service for dinner just topped it all off. The full breakfast was the perfect way to complete our stay. Thank you Novotel Rotorua, you have made this Nana very happy. :)

We requested and were upgraded to a very pleasant room overlooking the lake. The room was a good size and all amenities except good lighting, however the Concierge brought us another table lamp to improve the light for reading! All staff were most helpful
