We did not find the receptionist very helpful when checking in, were the only people there so she was not busy. Our room was fine, clean. The dinner buffet was great and staff friendly and helpful, food was also good but the soup only lukewarm. Breakfast buffet was also very good but not enough staff on for the number of people eating there, people were trying to find an empty clean table, while we were there, 3 tables around us remained uncleared while diners were trying to find a table. My husband cleared and reset our table so we could get a table. Food was great. Receptionist at checkout was great.

We really enjoyed our room with beautiful view and friendly service. The only poor thing was the restaurant at night ... only one option of a buffet style meal (with MANY young families, very noisy) so we decided to eat out ... which was fine because there are so many great restaurants nearby.

The service for breakfast and dinner items on request cooked by the chef was slow and often there was no one in attendance. One morning I waited for around five minutes in desperation I walked away and helped myself to what was ready available. The quality of some of the stewed fruits are questionable. The pear quarters are hard and tasteless.

Bathrooms are extremely dated you had to duck and weave to even have the shower water land on you. For an Accor hotel it was not up to scratch.

As usual great service, beautifully appointed rooms, adequate buffet. We were the last in so some items had run out of flame. The decor in this hotel is magnificent with quality fabrics used everywhere. House bar is so comfortable with a really calming atmosphere.

« Sympathetic, highly-accommodating and high quality. »

We were not happy with our over-sulfurous experience at a hotel closer to the lake chosen by our travel agent. My partner was feeling very unwell, as I was after being unwell a few days prior, from the experience so we visited Wotif.com to see if we could find any other emergency accommodation in town before we left the next day. Karli met us at reception and was wonderful taking us up to the room to ensure it wasn't too sulfur-fragrant. A much better night than we expected - and a jar of M&Ms to sustain us for the next leg of our journey. Thank you. Emma

Lovely room over looking the lake, nice welcome note from management. Made good use of the hot spa pools and buffet restaurant. Easy parking and great location near walks and centre of town. Will definitely stay again.
