Everything was fine. The only point was that I offered this stay for my girlfriend’s birthday, like I said to the duty manager by email who asked if there was any special occasion. And nothing has ever been done, like a happy birthday card in the room or anything to celebrate her 30th birthday. The service is very good in the hotel, the staff is very kind and efficient, that’s why it was a bit of a disappointment. Other than that like I said before everything was perfect and we will come back.

After checking in and arriving at our room we found that there was no running water. On contacting reception we were told of a recent water fault being fixed. The staff were helpful and found us another room and gave us a complementary massage coupon but not a great start. The new room was fine except it had no extra plug points other than near the wash basin. You could either charge your phone or have light in the room. Several plug points and exposed wiring as well which didn't look safe at all. The beach side restaurant seemed convenient except that the food was quite bland. When I did ask for some chilli flakes on the side, I got served the most spiciest inedible main possible. Safe to say there were a couple of items we had to return and have removed from the bill for being simply inedible. The breakfast buffet was a good spread of food, but just poorly set up. Maple syrup that had to be served using a teaspoon, insufficient juice and water glasses , two coffee machines but only one worked, just one toaster , fruit platters with serving tongs all over the fruit. On a positive note, the beach was pretty, good size pool. There were lots of beach/lounge beds available. The staff were really very very nice and did the best they could. I'n summary, while the stay was relaxing being Bali, the star rating this hotel has is definitely not correct. It's quite a disappointment for a Novotel and not what I had expected. I will not being staying here again if I travel back to Bali at any stage. Novotel, you really need to up your game.

very good staff polite .The only thing that you need to improve on is that the tables at breakfast time needed to be cleared away quicker and reset on most occasion you had to ask for knifes and forks because the tables had not been laid after the previous people.Dishes had been left on the tables Also you seem to runout of cups and glasses and you had to keep asking for them most mornings

This was my first time staying at Novotel Benoa. With this stay, I have stayed at all 3 Novotels in Bali. Like the other Novotels in Bali, overall it was good and I enjoyed it. I booked a family room because I was traveling with two infant boys and a family member and got upgraded to a family suite room (special thanks) because of my Accor Gold Status. Here are the positives: 1. Spacious room 2. The hotel has a Balinese exotic feeling 3. The breakfast was surprisingly superb 4. All the staff we encountered were friendly and nice. We felt very much welcome here. 5. Many restaurants nearby 6. Fast Wifi The only setback of our stay was that I felt the property was a bit old and understaffed. A family member complained to me that a blanket in the kids's room smelled (which was taken care of right away by the hotel staff) and then on the 2nd day of our stay, it took a while for our room to get cleaned, even after I called the guest service twice within 2 hours after 12PM. Overall, it was a good stay.

The location was nice as it had access to off property restaurants and to the beach. I was appalled when the tour desk tried to charge twice as much as the towel desk for diving and other events. Our room was full of mosquitoes, towels were dirty and we had cockroaches. It was our honeymoon so it was very disappointing. The staff is nice, the breakfast is great. Family friendly...

For 5 star hotel in nusa dua area was a good experience in bali . The reception well nice to greet and accompany until the villa. All facilities still well maintain for building more than 10 years . Activities for guest for facilities was informative very well. For buffet please add more variation menu for bites / dessert will be nice .

« Staff so helpful. Nice location but half of the property is not on the beach side of a road. Under flight path. »

I was disappointed that a ground floor room could not be allocated even though we booked 5 months ahead. There are no lifts so with a brother with walking difficulty a ground floor room was essential. The hotel would not allow cancellation despite the web site not being clear that deluxe rooms are in two story buildings without lifts requiring crossing across a busy road to get to the dining room and beach. The hotel did have a security guard who stopped traffic and was always there. I paid extra for a beach side Terrace room and this was an ideal location halfway between the beach and the lobby Check in staff were very helpful. Our room was changed after the first night which made it easier for my brother to access over the steps at the gateway to our room. Overall, staff superb, great pizzas by the pool, excellent breakfast but the themed seafood BBQ meal on the beach was very poor. Fish pieces small and dry, octopus and squid too rubbery, crab claw but no crab meat. The desert helped as cakes were good and the fire dance show was well executed. Being expensive at Rp 369,000 I expected more and eat out for dinner after this experience. Some nights the noise from jet planes was disturbing till about 3 am. If you are lucky a sun lounge can be had around the pool or on the beach. So much activity in the lagoon area that there is plenty to look at, jet skis, para sailing, ships entering the harbour etc. The area is obviously a water sports paradise and great for families. Overall I liked the fact that the hotel is low level, not too big, has a slight Balinese style and is a short walk to many restaurants. I would have liked some tables and chairs in the shade near the beach. We used the Cocos restaurant's tables sometimes as the only option.

Once more we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Each and every staff member should be commended for their friendliness and service however a stand out for us was Wayan, the lady who makes the breakfast omelettes. Over the years she has never changed, always happy and welcoming with a wonderful attitude to life. Thank you for the lovely gift of oils - much appreciated! I suggested to the Spa staff that if packaged for travel this would be a good item to sell - a lovely gift for family and friends. Thanks again and we hope to visit again soon.

I am a repeat guest at Novotel Bali Benoa, having stayed perhaps 8-9 times already until some of the staffers can recognise me, especially the Spa Manager, Rame and her staff. Overall we are satisfied with staying at your hotel. There are a few things that we believe can improve upon: -the water from the main swimming pool is rather dirty compare to the pool near our room (520) which is clean and cleaner -find it interesting the save box is facing the washoom where we have to constantly get our vaulable belongings from the washroom -we only received two large towels on our first day of arrival...on the 2nd day we have receives 2 sets of large and small towels -one of the bed linen is dirty upon our arrival; your staff has changed for us on the same night We hope the above feedback can help you to improve for other guests' visit to your hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this resort. We stayed in a Beach Cabana with outdoor bathtub. From the moment we entered until the time we left the customer service was amazing, staff are so friendly and helpful. While the rooms aren't 5 star they definitely suited us with everything we needed and had the pool out front with the beach and Cocos Restaurant a few more steps . We were provided with 2 small bottles of water each day and walked the few metres up the road to the shop for more. We had a special package that included full buffet breakfast and also a 2 course lunch which we chose from a menu board. My husband usually ate starter and main while I had main and dessert (OMG the desserts were to die for , I couldn't choose a favourite, all were delicious!! ) This place is fantastic quiet part of Bali, there are a few market shops, convenience stores , bars and restaurants , starbucks and money changers but apart from that it is a fairly laid back place compared to Kuta. If we wanted to go into Kuta or a day trip we used the hotels private drivers to take us for an agreed amount and hotel staff told the drivers what we wanted. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing! Everyone was so accommodating and all the staff have such beautiful souls. Our small group, a bunch of mums who came without kids and husbands, was turned into the most perfect getaway from all the love, kindness, attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff at Novotel Benoa. Highly recommend if your after a getaway or family holiday. Very safe, clean and excellent hotel in a quieter part of Bali. Staff are very warm and friendly and extremely helpful.

It was great, It catered beautifully to my wife and I and our 6 year old daughter. Everything we needed was within the hotel grounds. My daughter has a toy dog and each day after our room was cleaned the house keeper left it standing in a different position, much to the delight of my daughter. I thought this was beautiful touch.
