We had a wonderful time, as always! Service is brilliant - your staff are absolutely your greatest asset. Breakfast is always amazing. Room service was a bit hit and miss - had one meal that was cold and almost inedible by the time it was delivered. The hotel is lovely but could do with a bit of a general refresh to stop it from getting too tired and dated.

Amazing place to stay for holiday, relaxing and enjoyong the beauty of Bali. However, there should be improvement in room service and food.. the first night we stay, some room amenities are not available, such as towels. Everytime we ask for room service its takes long time for the staff to come. Even the last night we stay and ask for towels that had been removed because of room sevice before, the staff didn't come. For the food, i hope the hotels will provide more halal food, or better seperate restaurants for muslim. Anyway, i had a great stay, thank you very much.

We loved our stay. The staff were 1st class and most helpful and pleasant. As we were both disabled it was difficult to get around but everyone was most helpful and asisted us. Using the shower was difficult as there was no grab rails and a bit hazardous. The restaurant staff were 1st class and always there to assist us. A very happy hotel

Amazing from the moment we stepped foot into Novotel. Staff were always available to help and nothing was to much for them. It was our honeymoon and my birthday. Was greeted with flower necklaces and when we got to the room it was decorated beautifully a few minutes after getting into the room a man arrived with a cake which was delicious.

« We enjoyed the Bali experience but the hotel was very 'tired' and in need of a makeover. »

The staff in general were very pleasant and obliging except at the Nana Bar where the barmen that we dealt with were very slow and lazy. eg A Lime Daiquiri was ordered and there was no lime with it. When asked for lime the answer was 'we ran out.' When told 'you can't have a Lime Daiquiri without the lime, best you find some' the bartender then pulled a lime from his 'fridge and proceeded to cut it up. Another time the daiquiri was served with ice blocks instead of crushed ice and we were told the 'machine was broken'. A different bartender pulled out a blender and proceeded to crush the ice. The dinner buffet was very average, the food scant and the chefs very slow at the cooking. The staff at the road crossing were extremely diligent.

Overall we had a good stay as last year the same time, but I do have to mention two things. I have had a lot of stays at different hotels worldwide and must say, that I don’t think, that Novotel Bali Benoa deserves 5 stars anymore. The rooms is showing signs of a lot of use and a minimum of maintenance, cleaning could be better, especially bathroom and bathroom mirrors. We brought our friends this time (all the way from Denmark) and all of us looked forward to the seafood menu, that was supposed to be served on the beach. Because of too much wind it was held inside in the restaurant which is fully understandable. We paid a lot for a sad meal. There was almost no fish, and the few pieces of fish laying there was cold as well as the few shellfish - a really sad meal, that made both us and our friends very disappointed. Actually we ended up going to another restaurant afterwards. I must say, that I normally don’t complain about anything at all, but I had to write this! Best regards Leon V.
