I found the staff very helpful. When I checked in, the lady was very kind in making a dinner reservation for me. Highly appreciated. She went out of her way to book me a Bistro in the Latin Quarter. The Metro is about a 10 min walk. The RER train is about 20 min walk away.

« Adequate, no-frills hotel - somewhere to base yourself. »

The facilities were no more than adequate and the rooms minimal. To be fair, the staff were very responsive and helpful with our particular requests both before and throughout our stay. We didn't eat at the hotel and found it very peculiar that the restaurant was 'closed for the summer' but I guess that's a bit of the French culture. It is certainly not as luxurious as Ibis hotels in the UK so lower your expectations. The biggest disappointment was the three inch mattresses on top of 'spongey' block beds leading to a certain lack of comfort. Overall, somewhere to rest your head out of the bluster of central Paris but St. Denis is not the most salubrious area to stay.

The bedrooms are under expectation. The furniture is not nice and the bathroom smells. Majority of the staff doesn't speak English and it is hard to communicate. The dinner was mediocre, the breakfast was terrible, and the cutlery was dirty and greasy. Also the arrangement of the restaurant to eat breakfast was awful. Definitely it is way too overprice for the service provided!

Our ibis standard breakfast "as in the market" is composed of a wide range of products (pastries, various varieties of cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruits, hot madeleines, eggs, fruit salad, pancakes etc.) and we are sorry that it didn’t exceed your expectations. Almost all our team members speaks English but it’s true that a few of them speak with a pronounced French accent that can be embarassing. Linens and room was relatively clean. Room is adequate. TV size is not amble for the room, but was serviceable. Security chains for windows were non-operable. While I understand the reasoning on raising the shower bar, the curtain does not meet the floor. This creates a huge water mess all over the bathroom floor. The shower curtain itself has bad water staining/discoloration at the base that looks terrible. Also, the curtain wasn't large enough to totally encompass the full shower space, not was the curtain hung properly (missing many hooks, and not all attached). Further, the bathroom window frame was dirty. Check-in was fine; hosts always pleasant. Breakfast was adequate, but on the last day there was no yogurt or formage frais (actually there never was formage blanc/frais). Host at breakfast was always pleasant and helpful.

We chose this hotel because we went to a concert at Stade de France. It is located so close! after the concert we were extremely glad that the hotel was located 7 minutes away. Rooms are great for a 3 stars hotel. The bed is very confortable and you cannot hear the noise of other rooms. I'd liked to see more vegan options for breakfast. ( at least vegetable margarine and vegetable milk). We would definitely come back.

The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I stayed 2 nights for business reasons, the first night was great but the second was terrible, the bed was too hard and the room too hot. Globally my stay was fair however a little expensive regarding to the services and quality of the hotel.
