« You get what you pay for. »

We chose this hotel for its price and convenience. There was nothing wrong with the room although it felt rather cramped but the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom, on the other hand, was very spacious. Both the bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean. However, I did feel that there was little recognition of my platinum status. . Particularly disappointing was the welcome drink. In other Ibis hotels that I’ve stayed in, e.g. London, Dublin, Brisbane, we have always been offered two large wines even as gold member. Here, I was offered one juice or a sparkling water.

« THE best night manager EVER! »

After a debacle with a Booking.com apartment reservation (which, because of the issue with Booking.com, they required that we book our hotel through them so they could manage the reimbursement of the additional charges we would have from our original apartment reservation - which was not an Accor facility), we literally made our reservations online for this hotel and checked in within minutes. The night manager, who we saw on each night of the two nights we stayed here was hysterically funny! He was cordial, he was kind, he was helpful; he was simply THE BEST!

« Three night stay in IBIS Gare d'lest »

Room and bathroom OK and comfortable bed . TV did not work at all during my three day stay even though I reported it to reception on two mornings. Breakfast pretty average compared with say IBIS Gloucster.

« It was a pleasant stay »

I enjoyed staying at Ibis. Everything was fine except for the Air Conditioner. As it was a lot of noise outside, we couldn't sleep with the windows opened and in the room the temperature was very high (29 degrees). With that temperature, we could't sleep at all. :) The rest was fine and pleasant. Good breakfast, hotel close to Railway Stations and center, nice hotel staff.

« So so »

Well good welcoming until we went out of TV and interet all evening and morning after. When checking out people were more focused on how to repair onternet then offering a discount or asking for our client experience. A pity since I usually have very good experiences with Accorhotel group.

« More than adequate »

Around gare de l'est is not a place to pick for a postcard pretty stay in Paris, but for one overnight stay in-between trains it's perfect. Very nicely kept little hotel, impeccable rooms, good WiFi and helpful staff. The ' handy' device with Internet access which you can take round with you was a great idea if your own phone doesn't allow roaming.

« Was a good stay till.... »

Hi, I stayed 2 nights last week, 25th and 28th. I made both reservations like 3-4 weeks ago. While leaving on 25th, I told the receptionist that I'm coming back in 3 nights and if possible don't want to do the same bureaucratic things. He said he sees my reservation and took a note. On the noon time of 28th, I got a call from a hotel lady saying your systems had a problem since one month and overbooked and I can't stay there for the night. I was in a meeting, I booked your hotel just for TGV reasons, I planned to come at midnight by TGV and also leave at 7am with TGV, so it didn't make sense to book a far hotel. On top, I confirmed my reservation a few times. How can you say your system is not working for 1 month and call on the stay day??? I was so angry, I started to look hotels by myself. 1 hr later I called, another guy picked up. He said he'll talk with his manager. and then I got a mail aying I can stay because some customers cancelled which is unlikely to believe. It cost me time, several calls and a lot of stress.

« Served it’s purpose but can definitely be described as budget. »

Location was fabulous, just around corner from Gare du l’est station. Hotel room was the smallest it could be. Difficult to walk around bed. Very minimal. However bathroom was good size.

Staff was not friendly when we arrived in the evening the reception gave us the key room and that’s, small room, in the bathroom the floor surface was not completely covered by tiles. Good location, close the station and underground.

« Excellent Stay »

The hotel is located right beside Gare D'lest station, very convenient for commuting. Lots of restaurant nearby. Rooms are small but well appointed. The front desk service was amazing. Price is little bit high. Excellent wifi in the room. Very clean hotel with all non smoking rooms. Highly recommend for stay with children.

« Convenient location but marred by renovation work on the stairs »

We found the location very convenient to the Gare du Nord and the canal and local park. The breakfast was also good. However, our whole experience was marred by the renovation work on the stairs on the morning we were checking out. We needed to catch our train at the Gare du Nord. We tried the lift, only to find it taking too long to come. We opted to use the stairs however, at 10am, the stairs by our floor had been taken over by workmen ripping up the flooring and re-laying floor. We tried the lift again - so many times the doors opened to a full lift (no room left) taking people down to breakfast on the 1st floor or going back up to take people to the other floors. After being very patient, we had no option but to go down the stairs. I add that I am 7 months pregnant and we had our 2 year old son with us and lots of bags. I had to tip-toe over workman tools and walked through some sticky glue where they were laying the floor. We had to rush to our train in the end which was not good. Overall a very bad experience to an otherwise uneventful stay. I would suggest in future that if work is carried out on the stairs, it is done in the afternoon or evening - when fewer people are trying to check-out or use the 1st floor restaurant. The lift supply is not sufficient to cope with the stairs not being used.
