The staff at the reception made the difference to my stay as they were attentive and provided me with my request. Worth mentioning is Indah. Location wise super convenient as it is near the shopping mall, bus stops for TransJogja from the airport number A1 and is you are a Muslim the Malioboro mosque is just a stone throw away. I will stay there again.

The Location is strategic... Next to Malioboro Mall... The local food can be easily gotten... Batik clothes can easily gotten but you need to hav bargain skills... The breakfast is so-so... But, There is one waitress named Vita or Vika If I amnt wrongly remembered. She is very friendly. I asked her a lot of questions about Jogya, she was patiently answer. Very Glad to know her. Wish the best for her. I am only very dissapointed with the room... 1st nite, Leakage due to AC in the room, Next day we request to change the room and fast responded. Very glad. Moving up, The room AC isnt cooler... Technisian came up and cleaned up the AC but the AC isnt cool enough too... Imagined, outside is very hot might be 33° and yet my room only gotten around 28°... The room door came up the funny noise when u opened and closed. Please check carefully If you might happen to stay in Ibis Malioboro, The room door cannt close automatically... The room size is quite small but still can fit 2 of us...
