« Paris is not short of hotels - stay somewhere else »

Room too hot, noisy and very small. you cannot use the stairs to get to your room - elevator only. The rooms start from the 6th floor onwards so do not expect a ground floor room. The room was very tired and water hot/cold.

« Lots of room for improvement »

When deciding on a short stay at Easter in Paris, we chose the Ibis Porte de Bercy mainly because of its on-site garage, and did not expect a grandiose experience. However, too many elements/details in our stay were below ANY expectation, consequently the 4/10 note.

My otherwise great stay was ruined by the fact that on my third night I had another guest enter my room at 1:40am in the morning. The other guest was as shocked as I was and when I called reception to find out how the other guest managed to get a keycard to enter my room I was told “the guest had committed an error”. Really? It was quite apparent that my room had not been blocked for the third night of my stay and that reception had re-let my room to another guest. An awful way to wake up in a hotel especially when travelling on your own. All I received on check-out was a simple apology which did make up for my sleep I lost after this awful shock.

« Mixed »

1. Bed is good 2. Bathroom is ok 3. Towels seems need to be replaced. One day new towel had hairs on it 4. Internet does not work. When I asked reception why answer was because it is free. I found it very rood answer. 5. Breakfast very poor 6. Place for clothes is very narrow. I was able to fit only my jacket and suit did not fit. Not for the business traveller.

« Nice bed, outdated hotel »

Have stayed in much nicer Hotels, would not stay here again. Room is adequate, but atmosphere of hotel is outdated and depressing. Bed is comfortable and everything was clean. Nothing in the area, had to get Ubers to dinner. The doors to the staircase cannot be opened from within the staircase so no choice but to take lifts which rarely worked

« I quite enjoyed my stay at Ibis Porte de Bercy »

I appreciate the warm welcome and the courtesy of the staff. Rooms are nice and protected from noise. Rooms are also well furnished for a hotel of that standing. Unfortunately, I didn’t use the restaurant and the bar. Consequently, I cannot evaluate the breakfast and the service at the restaurant and the bar. The hotel is quite far from the metro but very close from bus station. The hotel is also close to a shopping mall.

« Enjoyed the Stay!!! »

One of the male receptionist was friendly and nice enough to allow us check in a bit early then the check-in time as we had arrived to Paris at 7AM. The other female receptionist was not that friendly and showed no interest with their guest when asked questions and requested for early check-in. Rooms where clean and cosy for couples. Breakfast could be much better, I personally did not enjoy it. Overall, it's a nice place to stay for short period of time.

Bus 24 runs outside Ibis door directly to city center. Mall is next door with access to shops, restaurants and big supermarket. Staff was friendly and spoke English too. Good breakfast is available at both Ibis and Ibis Budget. Rooms need a bit of renovation.

« well below average »

the hotel room was very small.Two out of four lights were not functioning . It was the least memorable stay of any Ibis hotel I have been in. I wanted to complain but was instructed that I could not as the manager was not here.

« some unfriendly service and lack of help »

Friendly reception the first day. We had problems with our key card and as allways your aircon is way too loud. I was also in German and Swiss Accor Hotels and they can do way better. Contrary to other Accor Hotels the breakfast payment is not as simple as I am used to. Normaly I decide every morning if I go to have breakfast. Bad: the last day we friendly asked the hotel to keep our luggage until our train leaves which is a normal service in your hotels. All we got was a snappy answer that they have already enough luggage and don't want to look after ours.

The area is bad, but I understand that cannot be solved. However, the room layout and furniture is much worse than in any other IBIS hotel. It was like going back to the 70's.

« Ibis and ibis budget combined would not stay again! »

During our stay the weather was very hot and the air conditioning proved totally inadequate. Check the weather forecast or you will not be able to sleep. Strange arrangement with ibis and ibis budget taking two floors each in a larger building and each having separate breakfast bars, the breakfast staff were very pleasant . On checkout billed me the higher dayrate rather than the cheaper rate I had booked online in advance.

« Awful start but improved »

When we arrived we were totally ignored and French speaking people were able to push in front of us. When I finally found out that the computer wasn't working we decided to go out as no alternative was given. Bar staff were great and the room was spotless but first impression ruined it all.

« good and clean room »

one night in the hotel allowed me experience nice and efficient staff (hotel and restaurant). meanwhile the Italian restaurant is not great..I have to confess. Breakfast ok
