We should have been told when we made the booking that our parking was not at the hotel but a block away. Our bed was not properly made when we went to use it on the first night, the top sheet was not spread..it was half sheeted. Bathroom accessories were insufficient on night one.

Monotonous and tasteless breakfast with no frequent change of menu. Doesn't befit a hotel standard in terms of taste and variety. Amenities for bathroom prepared for one guest where it is booked for 2 guests staying. Welcome drink was issued for one guest instead of 2. Requested for memory foam or latex pillow in personal profile and preference, not informed by hotel that none are available during check in. Pillow too soft and thin. Got Neck ache and I had to visit 7-Eleven at 1am to buy panadol for neck pain. Could not sleep well that night.

We stayed 9 Nights ( 4/8/19 - 10/8/19, 12/8/19 - 15/8/19 ) in Ibis Brisbane ( Turbot Street ). My observation as follows : (1) Value for money - The stays experience in Ibis Brisbane was well worth. (2) Convenient Location - Convenient walking distance to bus station, train station, ferry, shopping main hub, eatery places, casino, Museum, City Hall Clock Tower, Art Gallery, South Bank & many other attractions. (3) Happy with housekeeping - Housekeeping team has done a superb good job on daily housekeeping for bathroom & room. Very satisfied that bathroom and bed were well kept. (4) Good buffet breakfast varieties, spacious and neat set up. (5) Friendly receptions - special thanks to Christopher for giving 1 complimentary buffet breakfast.

The staff were very helpful and great to deal with. The room had all the required amenities and the location was handy but the air conditioner or something was making noise all night and the area was noisy. The hotel could use an update to the air conditioner, clean the vent and change the shower curtain or replace with a door.

Reception Service was good. Rooms- nice and comfortable-excellent daily clean & towels replaced. Restaurant- Breakfast awful Only ate there once. No room service so ordered dinner from restaurant- this process is a shambles- bar lady has to bring the food up from downstairs so 2 trips if multiple plates- stupid system. Then she forgot knife and fork so had to go back a 3rd time.

The poor pillows ruined our night. I was up with neck pain most of the night. I will not recommend this hotel. I asked for a new pillow which was just as bad. I won't be back.
