My only complaint was the air conditioner was not on at check in. Arriving in a heat wave was not pleasant. Aslo when I came back after my conference in the evening the air conditioner was also turned off so arrived to a hot room. My colleagues did not have the same experiences, they arrived to a cool room on check in and when returning to their rooms

« An enjoyable stay close to both the CBD and South Bank Attractions. »

Enjoyable overnight stay in a standard room which was more than adequate both in size and fit out. The bed was very comfortable and the room very quiet with no outside noise to interfere with your rest. Reception staff very helpful on arrival re the off site car parking arrangements. Breakfast offered all the usual options and was popular with other guests given the number of people who went along the morning we attended. Have stayed there previously and would definitely stay again.

« Value for money but parking a pain »

The room was large and although on the older spectrum still nice. The beds were very comfortable but wondered why the TV was so far away from the beds when there is ample room on the wall in front of the two beds. We ended up parking at the Myer centre as we knew where that was and the fact that you then have to walk back the two blocks although it isn't that far it was very hot and inconvenient. You can drop off your luggage however then park the car so at least you aren't lugging your luggage around the city. I will say that I was aware that there was no parking on site when we booked and didn't think it would bother me but on hindsight this is the only reason why I would not stay there again if I drove up. The breakfast was nice but I would like more pastries.

Room was fine. noise level was a little high due to some outside noise. Very helpful staff and nice to deal with. Breakfast quite cold (no heated plates). Food ok. My account was incorrect and is still taking time to sort through. Annoying. Without the account issue I would rate at 7

Had a lovely time at Ibis Brisbane. Breakfast and dinner were very good with sufficient choice and fine quality. Breakfast was similar every singe day (stayed 4 nights for business). Location is perfect, just off bridge to southbank and in centre of CBD. Walking distance for everything business. Love running, and more than enough room in Brisbane, especially Botanical Gardens at QUT are nice. Wifi is free of charge in room. Connection not always good.

I came down for my birthday weekend with friends. The air con didn’t work. I was told on check in that I only had to pay a certain amount because the hotel had already charged my card before arriving but then on check out (which was also my birthday) I was forced to pay an extra $159 due to the hotels stuff up NOT mine. Extremely unimpressed and it ruined the rest of my birthday that day.

« Nice stay if it wasn't Sunday »

Our stay was nice, the room was OK, but I fail to see apart from the bed and a bottle of water what the difference is between a standard room and a business room , if you are going to upsell, make it noticeable. You have a perfectly good restaurant to service your hotel, why on earth would you not have it open on a Sunday night, the rest of the city as it would seem closes it's decent restaurants , you could make a killing by serving your in-house guests , but it's closed, such a shame. Last but not least, Your cleaners need to spend a little more time in the rooms, and dust areas that they think we cannot see.
