Great from the get go. Driving from the hunter valley, it was very easy to navigate to. Parking was a breeze, check in was quick. We upgraded to a deluxe room and were on the top floor. The room was in excellent condition, we had great views and were so comfortable. The only disappointment was that I had to leave.

On entry to foyer, over-powering smell of air freshener which appeared to be ongoing as still there next morning! Our room was clean and beds very comfortable. No luggage rack provided had to leave bags on bed, disappointed with this. We were placed in a room next to family with young child, very noisy when we were trying to sleep at 12:30am. Perhaps this could have been considered when allocating us mature ladies to this particular room.

Your staff are great! Efficient. Only one little problem. I am quite tall. The beds are made with the long side of sheets going across the bed (so they tuck in I guess), the bottom sheets do not cover the bottom 6 inches of the bed. I believe this is a little unhygienic and I believe it is uncomfortable.

I found the Mercure exceeded all my expectations. My room was serviced and reset daily and the buffet breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection of foods and drinks. The atmosphere at breakfast was peaceful and warm, as was all the staff. Both the hotel restaurant and room service food was excellent quality with the staff again happy to cater for anything I asked for. Very enjoyable and relaxing overall.
