« GREAT LOCATION, ROOM, STAFFS AND SERVICE »

Just after check in, I promised myself, next time I come to sydney I'd definitely stay in here again. Room was cleaned in perfection, status was recognised. I am just not sure why we dont get free water bottles. Not much issue, 711 just across the road. Eves restaurant was really good and staffs were very attentive. all in all my stay here was great, I cant fault much. Congrats Mercure!

We found the Mercure just right for our stay in Sydney. We were close to transport - buses and trains, and restaurants. The room was comfortable, the view was excellent, and it was quiet - no traffic noise.

one of the best experiences. Truly great hotel. Really looked after and catered to Only disappointment was a 'policy' apparently that all the hotel rooms could not be credited to my Accor account - even though I organised everyone and paid for all the rooms and brought everyone from our crew. We were told we could only put the 1 room on my account, when I had booked 15 rooms through my name. With S. much business and money spent (over $15000) I would've expected to at least be a gold or platinum member - but with only one room now because of a previously unmentioned policy, I would only have one room (roughly $1050) on my Accor account.

Service was friendly and efficient, and any requests were addressed promptly. Our room was great with the bedding quite comfortable. Close to some of Sydney's most interesting restaurants, and that's one of the reasons we stayed there.

We enjoyed our first short stay at the Mercure Sydney. Very conveniently located to Central station, state rail stations, and a short walk to Darling Harbour and Chinatown. A good selection of breakfast buffet options and modern pool and gym upstairs. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, liked the pillow menu. We greatly appreciated the helpful concierge service for advice on the best way to visit various attractions. Check in and check out was efficient and friendly.

We stayed for 1 week to attend the Hillsong conference, our booking incl daily breakfast at restaurant, the staff is so friendly and helpful, special shutout to the baristas who made us soy-latte every morning and Eva who was so kind to our kids. The hotel will even prepare on-the-go brekky packs to guests when we don't have time for breakfast. The location is superb - close to train and bus, you can get anywhere from central, there are lots restaurants and food courts near by incl the Central Mall and Market City. we will surely book the same place when we return to Sydney in the future.

i found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Overall we had a good experience. The room and beds were smaller than what we were expecting for 4 people. The smell of fragrance used in the lobby/ foyer was unpleasant and overbearing.

Initially entering the room it looked very tired, windows very dirty and we were only level 3 with no offer to move rooms. While checking in I could hear reception asking the customer next to me if they would like to select a different level room. I didn’t expect the hotel was at capacity on a Thursday night. My son commented that the room was dusty. We were placed right next to the elevator so it was a noisy stay. The pool was nice and the gym facilities were good and working. The hi-light of the stay was the room service., the meal pricing was affordable and the quality of the food was exceptional.. the staff were great for room service.. very friendly. The buffet breakfast was limited for my son.. he ended up having vegemite toast as the sausages had herbs in them and the scrambled eggs looks runny and unappetising. But I was very impressed with the service and the complimentary milkshake. Overall, if the room had been better it would have been a great stay. But I felt that because I’d booked it with Groupon that I was just put in the pits. Still paid $165 plus parking so that was disappointing to not be treated better to select a nicer room.
