Our daughter and Dominic got married on the Remarkables in Queenstown and I booked the stay at St Moritz in Queenstown for all the family members attending. Everyone speaks highly of the services and care of the staff at St Moritz. The Bride and Groom's room was upgraded topped with sweet memories of champagne and chocolate organised in surprise by Danielle, the Customers Relation Manager, who is super efficient and caring deserving a mention in our compliments. Also Janet at the front desk is superb, also Ron and Kim in the restaurant and other staffs who have all contributed to the success of this once in a life time important happy occasion of our daughter and son-in-law. On behalf of everyone in our two families, I say a big THANK YOU to you all at St Moritz with three big cheers!

We had an exceptional experience at Hotel St Moritz. Our families joined us in Queenstown to celebrate our wedding on top of The Remarkables, and we chose St Moritz for our stay. We felt the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate our complicated booking and they also surprised us with a lovely wedding gift on the wedding day. We also had our wedding dinner at Lombardi restaurant where the food was absolutely amazing. The staff were also kind enough to accommodate a last minute request for a wedding cake. The rooms were wonderful and the lake views breathtaking. We are already planning our next trip here as we have come back with some unforgettable memories.

Very pleasant staff . Brilliant views from the restaurant and room. Breakfast & dinner menus were great. Room was comfortable and service was very good. On the minus side - I think for guests - parking at $ 35.00 per day is expensive.

Despite the reception, restaurant and concierge staff being excellent my stay was well below expectations. Room was dark and smelt of wet cigarettes even though non-smoking. Room service meal had a very small piece of fish and was extremely expensive. In room dining manager argued with me until I said, fine come and get the meal and I will make other dining arrangements. I stayed for two days/one night and only ate at the hotel. Got to the airport on day of departure and fell very ill with suspected food poisoning!

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel St Moritz! We loved our room with the beautiful mountain view. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing too. We especially loved the location. In a quieter spot but still only a 5 minute walk to town. We can’t fault our stay here.

We had a lovely experience at St Moritz. Rooms were lovely, staff very pleasant, accommodating and friendly. We all enjoyed our breakfasts and the one dinner we had in restaurant. One suggestion for the “new “system would be to make sure patrons Accor levels are known, written down so as to eliminate confusion around eligibility and status rewards.

Almost everything - literals, about 99% of our stay - was perfect. Our room was cozy, the view spectacular and the easy walk to access the town. We enjoyed the expansive breakfast buffet and several dinners and nightcaps in the restaurant/bar. The concierge was especially helpful as we had a flight booked for Monday to Milford Sound that was postponed several times due to weather and the concierge called the airline every morning for a weather check, knowing how anxious we were to get to the Sound before heading back home on Saturday (we did make it finally on Thursday!). And the front desk staff, Karen in particular, were friendly and helpful. Finally, we loved the on-site laundry! The one - literally one - complaint we had was that we were woken every morning by the repeated banging of the espresso maker/filter against the side of the trash can to empty the used grounds. We figured out we were one floor up and at least one room removed (room 507) from the location of the trash can/banging, but man did that sound carry! I suggest moving the trash can away from the wall and/or scraping/rinsing the spent grounds out of the metal filter rather than banging them into the can. It's a minor thing, but getting a sound, restful sleep is part of the luxury of being on vacation.
