« Everything was good.. Apart from lift which had problems all the time. »

We stayed for 4 nights, everything else was good apart from elevator which did not every now and then.. and specially when I had to checkout the final day with heavy luggage I had to walk the stairs all the way from 3rd floor. Very inconvenient.this much time to fix an elevator is not acceptable. But the location is just perfect next to metro.

loud unidentifiable noise during the night maybe elevator doors blocked bathroom was clean but the joints were filthy. Also I forgot an adaptor and its impossible to reach them by phone

« Below expectations for a budget hotel »

Staff were non-attentive and unfriendly apart from the nice lady who checked us in. Hotel lobby was fine. Of the two lifts, one was not only out of order but the one that did work needed the button pressed continuously for it to be able to continue to call the lift. We were dissapointed to not have USB chargers in the room as we didn't carry a plug converter. We asked at reception and it was suggested that we go to the cyber cafe to buy an adaptor which was vague and not very helpful. Our bathroom had a sizable patch of mould on the ceiling above the shower which could have easily been cleaned off with mould spray and had clearly grown over a long period of time. When we went to check out both members of staff failed to smile and when I waited outside for my lift the female receptionist was behind me having a cigarette which I dont think is professional. We will not be returning.

If you want my sincere opinion, I would say Accor must do renovations on this well located hotel. Everything is out of date, long used, felt dirty even clean! You're damaging Ibis / Accor's image yourselves!

-The hotel does not have appropriate number of staff to respond to the needs -Only one staff to work at the reception and cover the bar and sometime dealing with room issue -Room not equips with charger at around the bed -poor air conditioning and not even working -quality of breakfast extremely poor, staff (A black woman around 55 year old) at the breakfast not professional, Should be trained to control her anger and respect clients.

I am an Accor gold card holder and upon arrival no complementary drink was offered (I don't ask if not offered). When the lift door opened on seventh floor I was horrified to smell a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I thought Accor was now a non smoking hotel group. When I opened my allocated room the cigarette smoke smell was horrendous, and I have a chest and lung problem. I noticed an ash tray on the table (never seen this before in an ibis hotel for years). I opened the window straight away to try to remove the smell down to a reasonable level, but after around fifteen minutes realised it was not going to help. I went back down to reception and asked if it as possible for a room change because of the smoking room. I was given another room on same floor, when I opened the door there was a smoke smell but not as bad and an ash tray again on the table. The room was bearable but not ideal for my condition. I have stayed in many Accor hotels across Europe and this hotel was the first encountered for many years with smoking rooms and no smoke alarms fitted in the rooms (for obvious reasons), this is a safety feature I come to expect with Accor hotels. In general the hotel badly needs renovating, it is a pity because it is located in a good area for public transport to get around Paris. I look forward to using the hotel again some time in the future and hope there is a big improvement

Every evening on our return from the Hotel, our key cards needed to be re-conformed as they wouldn't work. Staff suggested that perhaps they were too close to mobile phones but it was not true. The fake wood floors are starting to fall apart in the rooms. There was a mouldlike deterioration on a panel above the toilet.

Overall the stay was good. A couple of points would have made it better. The basin/sink kept leaking and was never fixed until we checked out (despite couple of reminders). On second day we were offered change of room, but with just one more day to go we were not very keen on that. The staff at reception should show a more welcoming attitude.

Simple, but adequate hotel in nice neighbourhood. Hotel is almost on top of the metro station. Location is nice, in residential neighbourhood close to Canal d'Ourq. At the canal are some nice bars and restaurants. Room was enormous. Pity about finding out about the left luggage fee (EUR 3,50 per bag) only upon checkout (I could've easily repacked in one bag, had I known).

Clean room and very spacious. Staff were extremely friendly and we had a great stay. Room was cleaned each day to a good standard. There was 3 of us and only 2 towels provided at the staff, that's the only downside. Everything elsewhere was very good. Out room was quiet.
