« I was very stressed and disappointed »

I arrived at midnight, from the airport. I checked in nicely, the staff member was very nice. However, the room had a door to another double room, and there is no sound isolation at all. I took the hotel in order to have a good night's sleep before another flight. In reality, I had to listen to everything the couple behind the wall did and said - and I can't blame them but the hotel. I could hear their every step, every work, how they go to the toilet. This is completely unacceptable when you pay for a separate room, not a shared room!

Location is very good, near the train station but too much noise in the hallway (sound insolation issue). The superior room is simple, nothing special but the quality of the mattress is good. Overall, the price per night (100 €) is too expensive for the quality. At least the breakfast should be included.

silver card holder. Hotel advertised with air conditioning. Visited last year same time, same problem air conditioning not working. Last year got a change of room, this year requested and given a fan.

The rooms is well kept, but with old furniture. The bed was creaking all night even from small movements. We heard conversations of our neighbors because the noise isolation is very low. I hope you can fix this small defects. Thanks

The stay was great, Bruno (receptionist) was very polite and helped us somemhch throughout our stay! He planned the best routes and showed us great websites on how to get to the zoo and Brussels city centre. Was very helpful that he spoke very well english. He also made sure we got to the airport on time and showed us the shuttle bus timetable and other possible routes

The reception was friendly and welcoming. The room had a double bed with good matress and a bathroom with good and clean shower. It's not big luxury but I got what I needed. Breakfast is great, a choice for each, lots of fresh fruit, good croissants and good bread. And friendly staff. I stayed for 2 nights and I was happy. Thanks!

What is really good about this hotel, the "taxi shuttle" just for 17 € from Charleroi airport :)The hotel has a very good location, just next to the railway station a and a shopping mall :)Very nice breakfast and female staff is very helpful, can't say that about the male staff, as the hotel bar should be 24 hours but only when there are females at the reception as they also serve the drinks... :-/

Good location. Room 411 is noisy. Every time the elevator move, it makes quite a lot of noise in the room! You shoud improve the noise isolation in that room (wall next by elevator)

There was no option to make tea or coffee, no waste basket in the room, no chair, no glass or cup. There was a flyer that the hotel provided earplugs, but just the flyer, not the plugs.

Dear Jan, <br>Thank you for your review.<br> We appreciate this candid feedback of your stay and are very disappointed to hear that you found our services to be below the standards expected of us. <br>You may some tea or coffee at our bar, available for our guests throughout the day. <br>I am concerned about the room amenities that you mentioned since everything should be found in the room. As the standard Ibis 1 chair is provided, there should be 2 or 3 plastic glass and a wastebasket found in the bathroom and there is a lot of wastebasket in the corridor as well.
