Very good value for money! It is simple but effective to support your trip, putting available a confortable enviorement and a lovely staff. Internet works just fine and a nice bed to give you what you expect to rest.

« Good place decent quality for price city hotel »

Good service quality, easy to reach and near old town and public transport. What I was disappointed was too much price for too little breakfast, it would really better to get out few corners to some outside restaurant which are plenty of.

« Nice hotel with very good location. »

My guest was satisfied with the hotel, its reception team, as well as breakfast variety and services. I was not satisfied with the reservation method, because the amount that I paid in advance for my guest was not accepted at the check in, because my guest couldn't show the credit card used by the time of reservation. I chose the payment in advance, so that my guest didn't have to care about paying the reservation on her own. Unfortunately it didn't work. On the website, there was no information regarding pre-payment conditions.

Enjoyed my stay. Excellent location. Room was good, small but I knew this before I booked. Very clean. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the cleaning staff. I didn't find the staff in the breakfast room as friendly. Would recommend this hotel to others.

It was amazing, except the breakfast! Always the same things, without any other option, even a unique hot scrumbled egg. Besides, this breakfast is super, mega and hiper expensive considering what is served.

It was not out first time at this hotel. The friendliness of staff is remarkable but the hotel itself needs a full renovation: rooms, especially bathrooms including. Breakfast is good and the neighbourhood is exciting.

« Friendly efficient staff make Ibis Saldanha a really pleasant experience »

Room and bathroom was just fine. Breakfast facilities and food offer were a good way to start the day. No hot breakfast available but that would be an unreasonable expectation at €6.80. The bar was a good place to chat with Bruno about Portuguese football, last summer's terrible fires or anything else that came into our heads. This is an appropriate place to compliment the smart young friendly staff who are the hotel's biggest asset.

I stayed for 4 nights, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I love the multiplug socket so I can charge some of my gadgets at the same time. The location of the hotel itself is very near to the metro station therefore it’s very convenient. I would recommend my friends to stay here if they plan to visit Lisbon in the future.

« thoroughly enjoyed my stay »

generally all good . . . but i have a comment about the room. the size was fine, small but adequate. the fittings, all of them, furniture, bathroom fittings etc of a good (high) standard. but i thought the room itself was not well finished. in particular the walls have got a really horrible wood chip covering, and the doors, and door furniture (handles etc) are of very poor quality. i think you would be well advised to make the basic shell of the room to a much higher standard

« Very good hotel but too warm at night »

Location in Lisbon central. We left our car at the hotel and did a visit of the center of Lisbon by foot. Return to the hotel from Praça de comercio by taxi for 5,20 €. The hotelroom was small, very comfortable and sufficient. Unfortunately the room temperature was rather high. The bed is fabulous.

« BRILLIANT LOCATION »

Have stayed in this hotel on many occasions. The location is excellent for the Metro and also walking into Lisbon there is also lots of nice restaurants in Saldanha. The breakfast is particularly good. It has a nice bar area and all the staff are very friendly and helpful .

« Economy without sacrifice »

This hotel offers very good service and accommodation at a very favorable rate. The staff is young and, perhaps, inexperienced but they try very hard and almost invariably meet the requests of their guests. The rooms - at least ours - are very small and a bit spartan. In exchange for lower rates expect to receive fewer of the amenities. Often, of course, amenities provide by more up-scale facilities are largely "for show" and not especially needed. Though small, the rooms were immaculate and the maid service deserves special praise (and I healthy tip)! The location within a block of one of Lisbon's delightful "squares" means there is good shopping and excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk. And the variety of cuisines - Indian to traditional Portuguese - make dining nearby easy and varied. We walked from the hotel to the center city but we enjoy walking and are in rather good shape, it is a matter of sixteen to twenty blocks and not for everyone. for those not so inclined, it is a short, inexpensive, taxi-ride to all the delights of the heart of Lisbon from the Castle of St. George to Alfama to the many shops and restaurants. One thing I advise visitors: skip the expense of breakfast! It is over-priced and poor in quality. However, though hardly haute cuisine, it is nice to have snacks and some more substantial dishes available at the bar 24-hours a day. The food is palatable, not pretentious, but rather expensive. In sum, this is a good place for those wishing to see-Lisbon-on-a-budget!
