« Fabulous from start to finish! »

Unfortunately we only stayed two nights, we wished we had of stayed there for our entire trip! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms was spacious, the bed and pillows were heavenly. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Thank you so much for making our trip so special, we will definitely be back.

Room was poorly cleaned - non-slip mat in bathroom smelled really bad, dirty marks on benches, hair still on the bathroom floor. Not good enough particularly given the price paid for the room. Power cut in the middle of the night.

« Woken up 3 times during early hours of morning! »

There were 3 power cuts over night which meant the television turned itself back on with a bright white light background blaring into my eyes waking me up at 3.30am 4.55am and 5.55am. Then I couldn’t switch the tv off straight away for some reason! This was highly infuriating as you can imagine as I had an early start in the morning. There was a note at the elevator explaining it and I mentioned it when I checked out, however, an explanation did nothing to remedy the terrible broken sleep I had. A couple of solutions are required from you, either change your systems so they tv doesn’t automatically switch on when power returns or change your welcome screen so it’s not bright white.

Was enjoyable experience nice clean rooms good room service but the only downfalls was that it was a bit of a walk and hassle to get to our rooms and having to navigate through tradesmen and equipment doing repairs etc

It was great, fantastic service both at reception and restaurant. I chose to stay at Novotel because I wanted a little more luxury and for its excellent location. Maybe one suggestion - tissues in the bathroom would be nice

great friendly service, however after travelling for hours the one thing that I would have loved was to have a bath, the showers are great, but nothing beats a soak in the bath when you are cold and tired. and for such a lovely hotel.... your coffee.... was dreadful no barista style coffee was a let down, but room beautiful, comfortable and clean and fresh really loved my stay, and thanks to your team for all their hard work to make everyone comfortable.

« Familiar Setting but some small things just detracted from experience »

Just a few things not worth getting too upset over but things to look at. 1. I told the person who checked me in that I had an accor # and they signed me up again as a new person to the awards program - didn't look up the email addresses that I gave. 2. I had 4 cards fail during my stay. I don't store them near a phone and my room was a long walk to find out that you have 2 cards in your bag that don't work. 3. Dining at night, had a bit of slow service where I was ready to order and staff seemed pre-occupied a little. It was later (9 pm) and maybe staff were in shorter supply ... not a biggie.

« We were greeted by a cheerful member of staff and were happy with our clean and cheerful room. »

Really liked the clean, cheerful and modern room. Only negative point was when we came down for breakfast at about 930 am, there were plenty of spare tables but all had dirty dishes on them.

« We loved our stay at Novotel Hamilton Tainui. »

We enjoyed our experience as the staff were really accommodating and friendly. From the first few minutes after stepping through the front door we were treated with respect and made to feel most welcome. I must admit Hamilton for me was a city we always drove through to get to somewhere else, however our experience at the hotel during the first night encouraged to stay another.
