Upon arrival, the staff were friendly with a fast check in, the only downside to arrival was the gate, you either had to use your phone to call reception or get out of the car to use the intercom. However this was made less important by the helpfulness of the staff. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, the fact there was a separate ironing was a bonus. All in all a great experience for our first stay in an ibis hotel

Close to where we needed to be, fair price for the room and food good. Night staff very friendly and helpful on return from function. Would recommend to anyone. One point room was hot due to something about the heating/aircom and control having no control.

This system is partly dependent on the external temperature. I can only apologise if this was not sufficiently effective on this occasion. The stay is ok, as I am a loyal guest, so tend to ignore the issues, however, the above issue does need to be addressed, as I am a landlady and never allow any of my residents to endure any kind of smells from plumbing issues etc. The Handy Phone did not work either, therefore I had to keep calling from my mobile on lengthy waiting options each day a couple of times to place food orders etc. or have to go downstairs in my nightclothes, which is not a comfortable thing for me to do. Please provide telephones in the rooms. The handover by staff is also not done efficiently, as I was disturbed 4 times to vacate the room, whereas I had requested and paid for the late check out the night before. I also check in quite late on the day of arrival on every occasion I visit, due to travelling from down south and didnt get ground floor as requested. The Ibis styles Ive recently stayed in for a week, has much nicer rooms and furnishings for a low rate, and NO bad smells from the plumbing

Very pleasant stay. Lovely reception staff. If our room had been cooler I would have given 10 out of ten. Even with a fan, the room was uncomfortably hot and quite a few degrees higher than the reception area.

« What a lovely welcome back! »

As a regular (self-employed) business customer, I’ve always enjoyed my stays here. Last Saturday was my first back at the hotel after a (very much needed) six week summer work break. So how lovely to be warmly welcomed at the check-in desk and to find a ‘Welcome Back’ message in my room! Plus a cooling fan on the desk on what must have been one of the warmest days/nights of the year! Which meant that I was able to work in my room in comfort. And then had a smashing Steak and Mushroom pie in the restaurant. More stays booked for the while of 2019! Many thanks to Victoria and the team.

Basically room but very clean and comfortable. Room was a bit hot but I didn’t think to ask for a fan but could see they had a number in reception when I checked out. Staff were friendly and helpful. We left our do not disturb sign on the door and cleaning staff left a bag with a towel and teabags etc which was a really great touch. Would definitely stay again

Without exception all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Check in was very efficient - we knew the room wouldn't be avaiable until 14.00 so we had a delicious panini in the bar and one of the reception team found us at 13.50 to let us know we could check in. We requested an additional pillow and this was in our room when we returned later. The shower was excellent - hot and powerful!
